Portland Bill is located on Dorset's magnificent Jurassic Coast, which is now a World Heritage Site, and is home to three lighthouses, the most modern of which was completed in 1906 and is 35 metres tall with white and red stripes. The Portland Bird Observatory, as well as a tavern and a restaurant/café, may be found on Portland Bill. Previously a quarrying region, the spectacular coastline scenery and pathways provide excellent walking opportunities, and the surrounding countryside is well recognised as a birdwatcher's paradise!
