Primero de todo darle las gracias a Isabel por el recibimiento ya que nos lo hizo todo muy facil. La hubicacion es perfecta si tienes ganas de estar en el centro pero en una zona tranquila.

Our host, Isabel was incredible. Everything was perfect. Excellent communication before and during our stay. The apartment was clean and prepared for us before arrival. We walked and used public transportation to move around the city. The apartment location was perfect for both. We had an amazing vacation in Barcelona! Thank you Isabel!

The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of this place. The apartment was perfect for me, my wife, and our daughter. The neighborhood was centrally located but also fairly quiet, so its a great location for exploring the city! We all loved the place and highly recommend it!

We loved Sweet Home Barcelona and would highly recommend. A great location in a quiet neighborhood and very close walking to most attractions. Grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants all within a few steps. The apartment has an elevator, clean with all amenities and perfect for our family of 4. Our host was very kind and helpful with great communication throughout our stay. Stop looking and book this!

Definitely would stay again

A beautiful and comfortable apartment in a very convenient neighborhood. The host met us and explained everything in very good english. Plenty of necessary supplies were provided. We had a great visit and would stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

Perfection in Barcelona!!

While pictures often don’t tell the full story—the pictures of this property don’t do it justice! The apartment is stunning- lovely views atop the tree-lined street, gorgeous fully functional french doors open to the balcony from both the living area and the main bedroom, 15-foot ceilings, original Gaudi-era tile floors!! All in a perfect location steps from outdoor cafes, coffee shops and within walking distance or a short cab ride to popular sights. Leading up to our stay our host was responsive and informative, and on arrival greeted us personally and thoughtfully provided a printed “guide” book with detailed information on the apartment and area highlights including maps pinpointing spots for dining and sightseeing. Sweet Home Barcelona--- perfection!!!

The checking in process was a challenge. The person checking us in (not the owner) did not speak English and simply handed us the keys and left. Not explaining anything about apartment or area. We had three adults staying in the apartment and because the hot water tank was so small only one person could take shower in the morning and one in the evening.

Charming apartment, perfect location!

The apartment is beautiful and well-cared for, with comfortable beds, and equipped with everything we needed for our four night stay. The location can't be beat. It's within walking distance to many tourist locations, while at the same time being in a safe, residential area. There are many restaurants, small grocery stores, and cafes nearby. The host, Isabel, was fantastic. She is so organized and helpful. She met us and introduced us to the apartment, and took time with us to explain the neighborhood and all that it had to offer. Our time in Barcelona was wonderful, thank you, Isabel, for sharing your apartment with us!

Lovely apartment, great location

The apartment is a lovely, modern, well furnished apartment that offers very comfortable sanctuary in this bustling city. We spent everyday visiting the city sites, and so appreciated the comforts of an apartment over a hotel room at the end of the day. Even though we did not cook on our week stay, the kitchen has everything you need, including a washer- drier. The main bedroom has views to the street, the second bedroom smaller; and we saw baby equipment in the closet. The owners , Isabel and Mike, have provided a very thorough folder with maps of the city highlights, restaurant suggestions in the neighborhood which we found very helpful; attraction sites, and even tour providers. And all kinds of instructions. They were extremely helpful in arranging transportation for us to the airport, and responsive in solving a repair issue. The neighborhood is fun to walk, is safe, and very well located for walking to all the sites and transportation links. We are 76 yr old couple who walked to Picasso Museum, La Sagrada Família, Casa Mila, Plaza Catalunya, the harbor, Arc de Triumph, took bus to Parc Guell, walked to the Cathedral and Palau de la Música- it’s all doable. We arranged Viator guided day trips to Montserrat and Girona and Salvatore Dali Museum in Figueres( outstanding). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the apartment as a perfect base to visit Barcelona.

Our family was of 4 had a great stay here, highly recommend, perfect location in the heart of Barcelona, easy walking distance to many of the great sights and activities! Wonderful stay in Barcelona!

Wonderful apartment in a great location. We enjoyed drinking coffee while looking out over the deck. It’s close to everything, we literally walked everywhere. Markets and restaurants are close by. Isabel was fantastic and even helpful us arrange for a taxi for an early morning flight the day we left. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended it.

Great Barcelona home!

Everything about the home was perfect. Very quiet for a city location. Perfectly located with so many top sights in walking distance. Great food recommendations nearby. One caveat about safety in Barcelona. Everyone says beware of pickpockets. Typically in Europe- you must take care in crowded places.. we were targeted by a clever well dressed thief who arranged for some kind of liquid to be sprayed on us, then played the Good Samaritan by helping us clean up and picked my pocket as he did so.Be careful!
