Glamping in the Teton Mountains …A five-star experience. Enjoy sleeping in a large platform tent or yurt. Both wonderfully furnished, spacious with expansive views of the Teton Mountains – and only five miles north of Driggs! The tent sleeps four, is tastefully furnished with a queen sized log bed, a log framed trundle bed, which sleeps two, a propane fireplace, carpeting, a view of the Tetons, a front and back deck with Adirondack chairs and a connecting heated and lovely bathroom. The yurt also sits on a platform deck, has a queen log bed, propane fireplace, leather sofa and chair, oriental rug, real windows and is just plain fun! The yurt sleeps two and also has its own lovely bathroom steps away. Both the tent and the yurt have electricity and wireless internet. True western comfort and camping at its best!
A favorite gathering spot, perhaps the centerpiece of the camp and also facing the Tetons, is our fire circle. With log benches, Adirondack chairs and a large fire pit, this is truly the ‘heart’ of the camp. What is it about a campfire that draws people together – for cocktails, an evening chat, marshmallow roasting or stargazing? And then there is the hot tub – large enough for six – a great way to start your day or end it. Of course, you’ll have a view of the Tetons while soaking!
During your stay, we offer breakfast daily and will do our best to accommodate your eating/dietary preferences.
Barley Creek Camp sits on 52 acres with a spectacular view of the Teton Mountains, a beautiful creek bed that weaves through the property, surrounded by rolling barley fields. The ground area around the tents and yurt platforms is a lush grass lawn with Aspen trees sprinkled throughout. The camp offers meadows brimming with native grasses and wildflowers, including a wooded wildlife and stream corridor with wonderful walking paths.
While we, John and Linda, Aggie and Houser (our two Newfoundlands), reside in a cabin at the camp, you’ll have plenty of privacy and full, quiet use of the property. It is an amazing bird and wildlife habitat, and we invite you to enjoy it and respect it. There are plenty of country roads for you to bike, so bring your bikes. Endless hiking is all around Teton Valley, so bring your hiking shoes/boots. Maybe a hot air balloon ride nearby? Or, just hang out at the camp, sleep, read and take in the views. We’ll be happy to provide you with guidance on local restaurants and adventures.
We look so forward to sharing this experience of Barley Creek Camp and the gorgeous Teton Valley with you!
