Situated in a typical Portuguese building, this apartment is truly cozy, comfortable and well-situated ! Close to most of the major touristic spots in Lisbon, it's ideally located for those hoping to explore our historic city on foot! We look forward to hosting you.

Bel appartement mais sale et peu entretenu

L’appartement pourrait être valorisé s’il était entretenu. Impossible de se détendre sur un canapé aussi sale et taché. Sous l’évier une bassine est placée pour retenir la fuite d’eau du lavabo. Il faut être sportif car l’appartement est situé au 4eme étage sans que cela soit annoncé. La salle de bain n’est pas ventilée et l’odeur des égouts est prégnante. Pas d’attention particulière à l’égard dés voyageurs. Tout cela est regrettable.

Great in pictures -- reality is much different :-(

When I booked, there were no reviews and the pictures looked amazing. Since then, there was a new review posted and its' accurate. The place is dirty, especially the walls. There was a nearly constant sewer smell in the bathroom and there is no AC. In warmer month it would be awful. The fan in the living room is painfully loud, so I'd have to bring the fan from the bedroom to just hear myself. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so a lot of stairs -- and the last set of steps are extremely steep with no railing -- it's not for anyone that has even slight mobility challenges. In terms of the decor, the design of the apartment is excellent, it's just has not been maintained (needs painting and deep clean) and the furniture is in rough shape (burns on the sofa). The dishes and glassware are completely mismatched -- unacceptable -- with Ikea, you can easily have nice dishes and at a low cost (it looks like they shopped at a second hand store). And the exterior balcony door in the bedroom will not shut. With all that, the views are AMAZING -- in the end, I was happy with the location and the views made up for some of the negatives. But with no AC, I would not rent it again. Oh and the management was basically nonexistent -- they handed me the keys with a smile, and that was it -- nothing else. No documentation on who to call if I needed anything -- nothing. And they were slow to respond to my email prior to arrival.

Never again

We really wanted to like this place. First off, the check in process was awful. We had to travel all the way to an office to get the keys from this company then walk 15 minutes with all of our luggage to get to the rental. It was up a lot of stairs and then 5 stair cases in the building itself. If this was accurately depicted in the description, we wouldn’t have chosen this spot. Secondly and thirdly, there was no AC as listed (only fans) and the balcony door was broken. Overall, they did a great job taking nice photos but it is much dirtier and much smaller in person. View is very nice, and there is a wonderful Indian/Nepalese restaurant about 50 feet away. We would not stay here again, however.
