Overview
Rose Villa is located in Sarlata, Kefalonia. This detached vacation
rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps up to 8
people with 4 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. There is a private pool (South
Facing) with barbecue and Sea views. Walking distance to the
Restaurants.
Layout

The villa is built over 3 floors with entry into the 2nd floor with 3
bedrooms. The master bedroom has en-suite shower room and French doors
leading to balcony with sea views. Two more bedrooms are on this floor,
one double bedroom with French doors to balcony and one twin bedroom
sharing the family bathroom. Marble internal staircase leads up to the
comfortable open plan living room with kitchen and dining area and
separate WC. Patio doors lead out to the balcony with sea views.
Downstairs on the ground floor is a spacious poolside siesta room with
patio doors leading out to the pool terrace. This room serves as a
fourth bedroom with twin beds and sitting area although there is no
wardrobe or dressing table making it more suitable for teenagers.

Living Room
The living room is air-conditioned and has a ornamental fireplace,
dining area, comfortable sofas, DVD Player, Satellite TV and Free
Wi-Fi. There are sea views from the living room.

Kitchen
The kitchen is air-conditioned and features a toaster, coffee maker,
washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and
oven. There is also a barbecue outside.

Rose Villa has 4 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed. En Suite Bathroom
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned with a double bed.

Lovely villa with so many great beaches near by, just 10 mins away. Good restaurants on your doorstep and great location to visit all the spectacular sights.Beautiful winery just 10 mins away where you can do wine tasting and butly excellent wine at really good prices. Comms and response from hosts was great, they went out of their way to be helpful.

Lovely well kept and maintained,gardens were well loved. Great pool. Couple of things we thought could be improved on were putting in a downstairs bathroom, and a sitting area neater the bbq. A great Villa all the same.

Fantastic Property

This was a lovely property. Excellent communication with holiday company and property owner. Very clean and has everything you should need. Rooms are also a good size. Air conditioning also in all rooms. We stayed for 4 nights so decided not to book a car. We made use of Kefalonia Taxis who were excellent. In view of location a car is needed if you are staying longer. The pool area was superb and had 8 sun beds and plenty of umbrellas.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at Rose Villa. The property is beautiful and clean with everything you need to cook at home. The location was nice and quiet, a 8 minute drive to Lassi and 10-12 to Argostoli. We discovered a great beach just 2km from the villa and was our favourite compared to all the listed top10 over the island, Avithos beach. Perfect for kids with shallow water and beautiful sand, plus not as busy as the others. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday we would love to come again!

Rose Villa, Kefalonia July 2023

We simply had an amazing time staying at Rose Villa whilst on our family holiday in July 2023. We were met at the Villa on arrival, by our lovely host Tassos.... who showed us round the place and made us at home. The Villa wanted for nothing at all, with a lovely top floor kitchen, dining area, looking out over the pool and stunning landscapes. The bed & bath rooms were really well presented and comfortable, all with great air conditioning, black out blinds and insect screens. We spent two pool days at the Villa and utilised the outdoor BBQ area, which we really enjoyed. The weather was so hot, during the heatwave, upto 41 Deg... but there was ample shade with the pergoda's, parasols and sun loungers. The pool was immaculate and was tended to each evening. Tassos told us the best places to visit, the most beutifull beaches and the best restaurants. There were plenty of small bars and resturants with a 5 min walking distance, but to best explore the area you will need a hire car, expecially to get around the stunning local beaches. The capitol Argostoli is literally a 5/10 min drive and has some amazing little shops, restaurants and bars. We absolutely loved our stay at Rose Villa and would love to stay again, Thanks again Tassos ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent villa

Excellent villa with the most helpful owner, villa had everything to make your holiday perfect. Excellent pool and great views and location. Had everything you needed was fully equipped. The most comfortable Greek beds we have ever slept in.

We loved staying in Sarlata. It took us longer to do the car hire paperwork than it did to drive to our villa. OK so we had to have two cars. Wonderful sea views from the pool and from the living room balcony. We felt like locals as the villa is on the edge of Sarlata and Kourkoumelata which are villages rather than tourist resorts. We loved the local beach of Avithos and there are some great tavernas at the beach and on the way down. The kids preferred Makris Yialos in Lassi which still had a few water-sports on the go when we were there but were slowly packing up for the season. Our favourite taverna was a cheap and cheerful place in the next village. It was always packed with a mix of locals and visitors probably because it was great food and very cheap although not great for vegetarians. The villa was clean and well furnished. We have two rather noisy teenagers but they were happy having the whole ground floor to themselves as their twin bedroom was by the pool and the rest of the party slept upstairs. It was a great choice for our family.

We found the villa easily with good information from Agni Travel and key at the door. On the way we found a supermarket so we could get food because we love to cook and the kitchen was big. Sometimes we had a BBQ outside. Very hot when we stayed in Kefalonia so it was good to have shade outside by the pool. Very clean and the house was better than we thought from the photos. We liked the sandy beaches nearby but not the stony beaches in Fiscardo so we were glad to stay near Argostoli. The owner Mr Tassos was kind and we went to his shop also.

As the end of the year is near, many people tend to take a small break. And so did we. with two families we spend time together, did a lot of sightseeing, had home-cooked meals but also visited the bars and the high classified restaurants in the area. We are thankful for the perfectly cleaned house, the lovely and clean pool and above all the friendly owner who paid us a visit. It is likely that we will revisit and recommend to other friends and family.

We were so impressed

wow this place is fab , beautiful views , lovely villa , fully equipped kitchen , loads of seating areas and verandas . Property Manager had laid on a fridge of food and wine , swimming pool was lovely , This property is over 3 floors so lots of steps , but it suited our party perfectly , 3 bathrooms too , would defo go again .
