Lovely place to stay and surprisingly spacious for the two of us and our 3 dogs (2x German shepherds & 1x Bichon x) loads of walks nearby or straight from doorstep. The hosts met us on arrival and introduced themselves, and checked on us after a couple of days.Nice hamper on arrival for both us and the dogs. Plenty of nearby shops and food places so covered for everything. Only downside was we found the bed a bit uncomfortable as it’s a kingsize that can be split into two and was a bit hard in places.

We stayed at serenity for a week we just wanted to be away from everything and that is what we got although there are local amenities close by we didn't use any we just had a wonderful week where we just chilled with our dog after quite a eventful last year the cottage is exactly what we wanted clean fully equipped and so cosy the hosts left us a welcome pack and were more than obliging with any requests we went at the beginning of February so it was really cold but once you put the log burner on it really didn't matter what was happening outside. If you just want a chill week I would fully recommend serenity you feel like your in the middle of nowhere but in reality your not far from the local pubs and shops if you require anything and I also could not fault the cleanliness in the cottage also just got to say the bed was so comfortable I managed to get some lie it's 😀 which was wonderful we will definitely be returning to serenity hopefully sometime in the future thank you to Carolyn and Ade xxx
