Flanked by iconic Devon cliffs, Sidmouth boasts an impressive coastline and a town full of charm. Cobblers Cottage is a stylish retreat for two in the pretty seaside town of Sidmouth. Recently renovated with beautiful design details this traditional cottage is well positioned, nestled in a quiet road just off the high street just moments from the seafront with its range of eateries and picturesque promenade.

In calming hues of grey and blue this newly renovated cottage is filled with light and provides the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach or out exploring the Jurassic coast. Fresh and inviting, the open-plan living space features a newly fitted kitchen, sumptuous sofa and café style table and chairs to the front. Stairs lead to an open-style airy double bedroom, a cosy sanctuary with a stylish ensuite shower room.

Pets: 1 Pet permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

We would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the broken toilet seat and floor tile in the bathroom. The owner got back to us very quickly to apologise. She was aware of the tile but not the seat. The handyman came the following morning, and the day after that to replace a light bulb in the kitchen. Had the big cushions (pictured) been on the sofa and cotton bedding available we might have found it more comfortable, and would in our view warrant the luxary label.

Lovely couple of days break in the centre of Sidmouth

Compact property with all that you need. Very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent for the High Street with shops and restaurants and for a short stroll to the the sea front.

Convenient stay

This is our 2nd stay at this time of year for the Middle Bar Singers reunion at The Anchor Inn. It's very convenient and compact. The parking is great too. We will book again next year.

Brilliant Holiday

Had a brilliant holiday. Cottage well located and nice to have a parking space near to cottage. Lots to do Toy museum worth a visit and theatre good. Very clean along sea front and very friendly.

Superb Location

Cobblers Cottage was perfect for two people, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and quiet. The location of the cottage is excellent with a five minute walk to the beach and a two minute walk to the town. Sidmouth is a lovely little town with lots of shops.

Short stay in Sidmouth

Enjoyable stay despite the weather. Property well kept and well presented. A little on the small size to be picky. Had a dog with us, with the benefit of hindsight would have preferred a property with a garden and A little larger. Location excellent. Info prior to arrival very good.

Good location

the cottage is very small (even smaller than we had expected eg the shower is very narrow) but is in a very good location near the centre of town. It was disappointing that no tea or coffee, or anything else like this, was provided. There is a Nespresso machine but no pods (except in a locked plastic container in the cupboard!) and we weren't able to find any in the local shops.
