A beautiful apartment

Lovely apartment on the second floor with a stunning sea view. Also to top it, wide comfortable beds and pillows. Equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay.

Lovely location

A bright, airy, warm and welcoming apartment. Sidmouth had a good range of shops and cafes and even though the weather was rather damp and drizzly we had a great time. It was fab to wake up to the sound of the sea.

Little Gem

Wonderful property with amazing view of the sea and we were made to feel very welcome by Finbarr with a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and then the fresh delivery of scones and cream. Fantastic location, 1 minute from the shops and restaurants whilst being able to sea and hear the gentle lapping of the sea from the sitting room. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Apartment and view

The Look Out is a lovely one bedroom apartment with all you need for a stay in Sidmouth for a single or couple. The views are fantastic along with easy access into Sidmouth and all of its amenities. The apartment is on the second floor so you will need to be able bodied with a modicum of fitness to take your luggage up and back down again. We would have liked to give the apartment 5 stars but for the fact that it needs a little bit of TLC in places such as the bathroom, shower very noisy and bedroom curtain tieback falling off wall plus other small things that need attention. We would definitely return but would hope a little bit of investment is made soon. Overall a great little apartment perfectly situated with superb views across Lyme Bay.

Adults holiday with friends next door

We had a great stay in this apartment-and our friends stayed in the apartment next door. It was a wonderful way to have a bit of privacy and spend a lot of time together. The view is Fantastic and to sit in the lounge or lie in bed listening to the waves was fabulous. The apartment was every thing we needed. Parking was fine but it was low season. It could be challenging in high season but the pay and display car park is literally a two minute walk from the back door. We hope to go back. Loved it.

Stunning views.

The Lookout was a fabulous place to stay for visiting and exploring the south coast. The view of the sea from the apartment was amazing, even on stormy days. Sidmouth was right on your doorstep with a lovely variety of shops to visit.

Good location in the centre of Sidmouth with stunning views. This property has enormous potential but needs cleaning, painting, re-equipping , and refurbishment.

Absolutely brilliant

AMAZING, STUNNING, AN ABSOLUTE MUST. Wow a perfect breakaway in the most perfect location. Fully kitted out with everything you need. The bed is soo comfortable, we both slept like logs. Close to all amenities. It was wonderful to open the window and sit and listen to the sea. Stairs to apartment quite steep if you have knee or hip problems. We managed as it was worth getting to the apartment. Finbar our host could not have been more helpful. If you do book this apartment you won’t be disappointed.

Treasured Times

We rented two apartments,The Lookout for my husband and I on the second floor, along with The Esplanade, which is on ground level for my 92 yrs old parents. This worked very well for us all, giving us time together and apart, and we were able to cater & share meals. It’s an ideal base for exploring Sidmouth town,where there is much to keep visitors occupied. A most enjoyable time was had by us all & the hosts were quick to address any questions before , during & after our stay.

Ideal position, great sea views, cosy. Cheap parking up to 31st March.

When renting we were contacted promptly to confirm by the host. Just before travelling received instructions for collecting key. Host checked in with us soon after arrival.

The Lookout …foreshore !

Excellent location with wonderful views . A Compact well equipped warm and cosy apartment. We enjoyed our short stay …….. but not so much the tub chair and sofa which are worn and uncomfortable .

An exceptional holiday apartment. Excellent location, wonderful sea views, so light and airy, beds nice and comfy and tastefully decorated. A lovely touch with the welcome pack - I won’t say what but will leave this for others to enjoy the surprise! Well done Finnbar, we will be back.
