Céret Cottage With A/C in 2000m² Garden, Heated Pool & Fast Internet in Ceret

A short walk into Céret and set in 2000m² of beautiful tropical gardens, this one-bedroom cottage - with 3 x A/C units - has its own patio along with everything you need for the perfect break including a full size pool, patio table/chairs, sun loungers and 2 x parasols = fully shaded.

2023 Update 1: now with larger freezer and an additional 2nd parasol for the patio, so that both dining table and sun loungers have full shade cover for all-day outdoor enjoyment!

2023 Update 2: we have now installed Starlink Internet across the property guaranteeing super fast internet in the Cottage and Garden area, so you can work, video or stream with multiple devices.

2024 Energy Update: We have installed Solar Panels, so at least 30% of all energy consumed is renewable. In the Summer, it's over 50%.

2025 Update: We now have an eco-friendly heat pump for the pool, which means that the pool will now be heated to 26 degrees Celsius during the summer.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the pool is shared with the Hosts.

The Space

For those with children, we have a brand new cot and high chair and the swimming pool has safety barriers preventing children getting into the pool.

The hosts are an English couple in their thirties who have recently moved to live here and speak English and French well.

We moved to Ceret in 2022, so everything in the Cottage is new - from beds to sofas to TVs etc. Most of the furniture is from the premium Maisons Du Monde retailer.

The 3 x A/C units also works as heaters, so you can feel assured of being cool or warm depending on the season!

We've tried to upload as many photos as possible, so you can see the space completely and there are no surprises!

We are just starting out with Vrbo, so value any feedback on anything else that you think would be useful for the Vrbo. We think we've covered all bases, but we want to it to be a great experience.

We've travelled using Vrbo many times over the years and some are great and others are very disappointing, so we truly want our cottage to be a great place to stay.

Complimentary tea and coffee (starter quantity of biodegradable Nespresso capsules) provided along with salt and pepper. Britta Water Filter provided. Linens and house towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Complimentary bottle of chilled rose wine and milk waiting for you in the fridge (if you do not want the wine, just let us know and we can remove).

There is Netflix, Amazon and Youtube on a Smart TV, but no terrestrial TV channels.

Guest Access

With its own private entrance for guests, there is also free on-street parking.

You have your own front door just for you (with garden door key accessed via a Key Safe on the street), which leads to a path into our garden and onwards to the Cottage where there is a second key safe to access the Cottage.

You can wander the garden and pool of course. You also have a private patio area in front of the garden.

There is secure storage available for bicycles with a charging point for electric bicycles.
Other things to note
We ask that you stop entertaining outside on your patio by 10pm.

Note: The property is not step-free and there may be issues for those that have mobility issues on account that the garden entrance has stairs leading to the main garden.

Neighbourhood Description

Our property is situated on the outskirts of Ceret in an area called Nogarede - just ten minutes walk from the centre of Ceret. It's great because it's near town, but also tranquil, quiet, close to nature and the sounds of bird song. The garden itself is filled with a large variety of trees and flowers and is a wonderful secret garden to relax, read, chill or swim.

Getting Around

There is free on street parking just outside our garden door. Before your arrival, We send you a video explaining everything including on-street parking.
