Villa Piaggetta is a beautiful villa located in the countryside of Montaione, a medieval village in the Florentine province. The villa is immersed in the Tuscan countryside characterized by small woods alternating with cultivated fields and olive groves; from each side of the building it is possible to admire wonderful panoramas with cypress trees in the background.
Services

The property has a private fenced garden, consisting of large areas paved in terracotta and stone, flower beds and lawn areas.
The large loggia is equipped with a dining table and barbecue, to spend pleasant lunches and dinners in the open air.
The outdoor spaces are embellished by a beautiful private pool, irregularly shaped (7 x 21 m, the depth varies from 1.2 to 2.5 m), equipped with deckchairs, umbrellas, sunbeds and hydromassage area.
At guests' disposal, finally, a laundry room (equipped with washing machine and dryer) in an external room.

There is Wi-Fi connection and air conditioning. Pets are allowed on request.

Famous for glass processing and high quality food and wine products (including the White Truffle), Montaione is the perfect place to stay to quickly reach the main and most beautiful cities in the region: Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa.
Easy to reach by car, they are also ancient Tuscan villages, real gems of the surrounding territory, such as:
- Volterra, famous Etruscan city with its walls and its museum;
- San Gimignano stands on a hill and is characteristic for its beautiful towers and the Vernaccia (famous Tuscan white wine, first among Italian wines to receive the DOC mark, Documentation of Controlled Origin, in 1966);
- Certaldo Alta, the town where the Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio lived, is a typical example of a perfectly preserved medieval village;
- San Miniato, famous for its prized white truffle and historic destination of Napoleon Buonaparte during his Italian campaign.
For sports lovers there are several alternatives in the area, including a 27-hole golf course in the nearby town of Castelfalfi (19 km), a riding school in Certaldo (16 km) and a tennis club in San Miniato (20 km).

The entire property (350 square meters), consisting of the main building and 2 annexes, can accommodate up to 22 people for a total of 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
Main building: The main building is on one level, on the ground floor, and consists of a living area with lounge, satellite TV, dining area and fireplace. Following is a kitchen equipped with oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Finally we find 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, all with ensuite bathroom with shower.
Annex 1: The first annex is located on the 1st floor, on one level, and is accessed only by an external staircase. It consists of a living area with living room, dining table and kitchenette (with oven and dishwasher). Following 3 double bedrooms, all with ensuite bathroom with shower.
Dependance 2: The second annex is also located on the 1st floor, on one level, and is accessed only by an external staircase. There is a living area with lounge, dining table and kitchenette (with oven and dishwasher). Continuing we find 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Villa Piaggetta can also be rented in the 16-bed version. In this case the customers will have the main building and 1 annexe for a total of 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. THINGS TO KNOW:
Pool open from May 15 to October 15.
Please contact the designated person a couple of days before arrival to arrange the check-in details.
The property is required to ask all guests to provide their personal information, including identification card or passport, and to forward it to the local authorities. Additionally, it must ask guests for the tourist tax according to local regulations: €1.50 per day per person; for a maximum of 7 days of stay; minors up to 14 years of age are exempt.

GENERAL RULES OF THE HOUSE

⁠ ⁠Please do not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed under any circumstances, even if they do not stay overnight, without prior permission
⁠ ⁠All guests must abide by a good neighbor policy and not engage in the illegal activities
⁠ ⁠Respect neighbors and reduce noise between h. 22:00 and h. 8:00.
⁠ ⁠Party planning is not allowed.
⁠ ⁠The tenant must be at least 18 years of age. Guests under the minimum age must be accompanied by a parent.
⁠ ⁠Pets not allowed unless otherwise specified in the reservation
⁠ ⁠Photography or commercial filming is not permitted on the property
⁠ ⁠The guest is responsible for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges on the credit card provided should any damage occur during the stay. If there is any damage or problem, please contact us immediately so we can take care of it.
