Elmside, The New Forest Retreat

Elmside is a spacious modern 5 bedroom house big enough for all to enjoy. Fire pit with built-in seats to sit around a glowing fire and toast some marshmallows. 6 person hot tub with cover to enjoy in all weather, with seating areas around it to allow all to be within the same space. Inside it hosts numerous seating areas including a large dining table, Desk/work area, 3 out of the 5 bedrooms have en-suites while the other two share the main bathroom which includes a large bath and a shower. Whole house newly refurbished to a high standard. Good sized kitchen to prep and cook if you wish.

Birthday get away

Great house, felt at home straight away, the layout is well thought out. The pool table was a great hit, as was the hot tub. The house is a lot more spacious than the photos show. We all agree that we would highly recommend this property to friend and family looking to get away for a few days.

This 5 bedroom property was perfect for our needs. All the rooms are spacious. The open plan kitchen with the pool table is a great idea. Only thing we found a small issue is the floors could do with a scrub not just a mop over. But that wouldn't stop us staying again.

Peaceful, well equipped and comportable

This is a lovely, huge comfortable property with plenty of room for a large family to spread out - it is actually bigger than it appears in the photos. It has been stylishly decorated and fitted out in a contemporary style, but still feels like a home from home. The road is very quiet, and it feels like you're in a peaceful, rural location. You are very close to both the forest and the sea with lots to do nearby. It is very secure for children - once the gates are closed they can play in the garden without worries. A large Tesco is only a few miles away, but smaller express supermarkets are even closer.

Well deserved weekend break down in the New Forest.

Communication with Jordan and more especially with Amber was very good. The house was spotless, it’s much bigger inside than the photos show. We arrived on a beautiful Sunny day last Friday 11th April and stayed until Monday. There were 10 of us and 2 dogs, one was a small spaniel and the gap under the front gates was a bit of a concern but we just stayed out the front with her.All the rooms were put to use and having 3 en-suites was very helpful and 1 shared bathroom, water was always hot.There were plenty of plates utensils, high end appliances, lots of glasses, however only 5 cups/mugs, so maybe a few more would be good.I brought more bath towels and tea towels with me, as I knew the hot tub would be popular. Also the pool table was used constantly, only found the chalk just before we left.We booked the Jolly Sailor for the Saturday night, what a wonderful evening, we had to pre-order as there was 11 of us that day. We all had brilliant meals. On the other two evenings we used the best fish and chip shop in Blackfield called Zoutorias, number in the booklet in the house, ordered it over the phone, short drive and picked it up, incredible chippy. We also used the Chinese shop Evergreen in Fawleyvillage and the Indian next door, both very good.Visited Lepe Beach and cafe/restaurant, Lyndhurst etc, all within driveable distance.There was an issue with the keys whilst we were there but Amber was wonderful and got it sorted out for us, she was great.Great find.
