Actually even nicer than the photos on the listing! Perfect spot for a large group (there are 4 twin beds total and one queen) Easy to get to from the tram from the airport, only slightly tricky to find but good communication with manager who met us at the door. Great location. Beautiful patio/garden with citrus trees.

Some good things some bad things… The location is perfect near the Duomo and leather shopping. The living room ceiling is incredible and the patio is relaxing. We encourage the owners to add a hardcopy welcome booklet with directions in English and other languages of how to use the washer and dryer. It was not simple. More importantly, we almost missed our train back to Rome because when we could not get through and called and asked the host for phone numbers of how to get a taxi, the numbers did not work. The transportation taxi Uber was also not that simple. Including this in the hardcopy and online welcome book would be helpful. We saw roaches in the apartment so better Pest Control is needed as well.

Expensive cockroaches in Florence

The stay was one of the worst we have experienced in decades of traveling. With the additional city tax of 5.5 Euros per person per night the already expensive nightly cost which was far above what was shown on the Vrbo site initially, we felt ripped off. It was my fault that I did not look at the receipt I got from Vrbo carefully to compare the advertised cost compared to the cost that was to be charged. When we contacted Vrbo to ask about the breakdown ( what was the cleaning cost?) Vrbo said we had to get that information from the host. So we contacted the host and they refused to tell us! Worst of all the place was dirty. The place must have been grand at some point but now the bathrooms had lots of mold in the edges and cracks.I think the foyer area may have been an outdoor area and its floor was constructed with outdoor pebbles that stuck up from the concrete with dirt in between. Then we found lots of cockroaches running around at night - on both nights! It felt like we were endangering ourselves but we felt stuck. The doors that lead into the garden were pretty but flimsy and we could not bolt one of the shutters so we felt in danger of unwanted people coming in. The garden smelled lovely compared to the moldy smell of the apartment but there were too many mosquitoes. There was a lack of good ventilation. We did appreciate the person who met us and that they let us drop of our bags.

Grand logement, propre, tres bien situé par rapport au Duomo et au centre de Florence.Proche restaurants et petit supermarché. Par contre, des travaux dans l'immeuble dès 8h du matin. Le logement est un peu vieillot au niveau de la cuisine et des salles de bain: une petite renovation s'impose.

Le seul problème c’est la voiture que j’ai louée à l’aéroport C’est très très difficile de trouver un parking qui non seulement coûte cher mais difficile d’accès

es war sehr unsauber und hat leider gestunken

wir wollten 2 Wochen bleiben und sind früher abgereist. Kakalaken in der Wohnung und die Fotos entsprechen nicht der Realittät.

Great for a family

We loved this apartment, especially because each of our 2 kids got their own bedroom and there were 3 bathrooms! We also loved the garden out back to sit and relax in after a long day of sightseeing.
