This location is truly special! While unwinding from a long day at the beach or hiking, I sit on the lanai with a cool, refreshing beverage or lay on the bed with the windows open and I feel like I am in the most luxurious tree house, simply magical. You are atop the fragrant Plumeria Trees and you look out the bedroom window to the ocean or look out the slider, onto the lanai, for an amazing sunset, through the palm trees. Beauty embraces you! You walk out the front door, to the pool, or to the Championship Makai Golf course for a sunrise or sunset walk. Go for a short walk to Sea Lodge and there is a short trail (slippery when it has been wet)down to the beach, for snorkeling, sea turtle watch or simply enjoying the sun. The No Shore of Kauai is so lush and tropical. We have never tired of the beauty it embraces us with, year round! The sights are spectacular and abundant, as are the beaches. An outdoor enthusiasts playground and an artist's paradise! You are walking distance to cafe's, markets and simply a short drive from the legendary town of Hanalei. It continues to be our treasured home away from home, for 20 years!

About Pamela Francis
This is a family owned condo. My sister is a private chef in the S.F. Bay Area, my husband is a General Contractor, in Lake Tahoe, for 40 years (originally from the Bay Area) and I am a Realtor, at Century 21 in So Lake Tahoe and I have lived in Lake Tahoe, for 40 years (originally from the Bay Area). Our families continue to grow and we have had the most memorable, very special vacations together, on this magical island. We love to golf, hike, walk, take epic numbers of photos and relax on the beach, snorkeling, SUP and some attempts at surfing. Kauai is truly our home away from home. Lake Tahoe is also paradise, but nothing is more exciting than to know we have a tropical winter home to escape to.
Pamela Francis purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Pamela Francis chose Princeville
Our families in Lake Tahoe and San Francisco fell in love with Kauai, about 20 years ago. Once we became the owners of this special condo, our love continued to grow for this "Garden Island" paradise. When it is time for a trip, to get out of the snow, winter or simply a break from our busy lives, there is only one place that comes to my mind and that is Kauai. We have shared our love for Kauai with our children, grandchildren, other family members, friends and it has become "the paradise" for all that have experienced it. There is always a bit of sadness and a couple of tears when it is time to say Aloha!
What makes this Condo unique
We love the lush flora, waterfalls, views, scenery, birds, lizards, sunrises, sunsets, beaches, cafe's, the community, all within steps - to short drives, from our doorstep. Princeville is in the No Shore of the island, which may get a little more rain, but most of the time, it is a quick shower to cool things off, ignite the waterfalls, create magical rainbows and make all the fauna colors vibrant. The abundance of beaches is a BIG attraction for us, but I have to admit, I do have a couple of favorites. The farmers market in Hanalei is not to be missed, on Saturdays, at 9:30. The most beautiful, assorted veggies, fruits, flowers, crafts and deeelicious foods. A sweet local family plays music and sings, while you sit, enjoy your treats & the beautiful views of the mountains. Kauai is an island of outdoor activities, beautiful sights and star gazing. For those who like a little night life, you may find it at the larger resorts, where there are some spectacular island shows. If you have never been to Kauai, it is a must and I know you will return. Oh my, where to begin! Our favorite beaches: Hanalei pier Annini Ke'e (when they reopen from the storm in April) Restaurants: North Shore: Dolphin for sushi Dolphin Fish Market in back Hanalei Gourmet Chicken in a Barrel The Italian Restaurant in the Princeville Shopping Center Kilauea: Lighthouse Bistro In Kapaa: Bull Shed Lava, on the beach Hamura Saimin off Rice Street, in Lihue for noodles The Brewery in Lihue on Rice Street Nahwiliwili Harbor has great outdoor mexican food dining, upstairs with views and a great Happy Hour Farmers Market in Hanalei on Saturday Mornings at 9 a.m. Friday night Art Walk in Hanapepe. We love Bobby's BBQ and dine outside while listening to the local music And we love to golf: Makai and Wailua Oh, Zip Line at the Princeville Stables All of the art and craft fairs on the No Shore are fun, also.

Just as advertised and better!
My husband and I were on the island to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. We spent almost two glorious weeks on the island - partly at this location and part at another on the other side of the island. The unit was perfect! I know we will be back and I know we will stay in this unit longer! I highly recommend it! I had a question that was answered immediately. Pamela was wonderful to work with. The kitchen was enough for us to prepare the meals we wanted, the entire condo is just perfect. There were very nice beach chairs, beach towels and other gear that were top notch and made the visit even better. We can’t wait to come back!
You are so thoughtful. Thank you so much for your kind words!!!! I love hearing of your delightful stay and we will look so forward to your next visit!!!!
Have a fun filled summer!
You'll enjoy a stay here!
We really enjoyed our stay here!
The location is a good spot in Princeville and not too far from the main highway. We were a little bummed anything past Hanalei Bay was closed off (Tunnels beach, Ke'e beach, Kalalau Trail) the time we were there (in July '18), but it was still a great location to be at!
The property has a really pretty atmosphere, with nice trees, breeze, and a distant view of the water across a golf course.
The apartment was really nice inside, it felt very clean and quaint. The bedroom is what stands out the most, it's open and surrounded by windows. As others have said, the kitchen is small, but there is enough supplies you can get by with. The television area was also really nice! A couch instead of two separate chairs would have been preferred, but it was still a nice place to sit.
The bathroom was pretty big, and we appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that was provided!
The beach towels, chair, boogie boards, and umbrella were also great to have!
This quiet condo was wonderful! Just a few minute's drive to beautiful Hanalei Bay and a short walk from the cliffs overlooking the northern shoreline, it truly was paradise.
Great stay for the week
We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with simple amenities so we could cook. A few mosquitos got in when we left the windows open for a breeze because of gaps in the screen, but it's Kauai, a few bug bites are expected. Bathroom was a little outdated but totally functional. There is an open window in the back of the shower which I'm afraid lets in bugs but we just kept the bathroom closed so hopefully they wouldn't come into the main living areas. We really appreciated that there were two beach chairs, umbrella, and boogies boards for our use, so that we didn't need to rent them.
Pamela's instructions and welcome note were clear, and when we had a question about Wifi she responded quickly. Parking was easy, and the condo is in a good location nearby several beaches, a grocery store, short drive to Hanalei Village for restaurants.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of your stay! We are so happy you had everything you needed.
When you enjoy the islands, you are surrounded by lush beauty, foilage, falls, streams, rivers and the ocean which attracts bugs, such as, tiny little mosquitos. You don't even see them! They like me, so I make a point to use a spray or citronella when I am sitting out in the early eve. Also, the fans help inside. We do our best to maintain the screens, but like everything involving metal in Kauai, being so close to the ocean, the salt sea air plays havoc on everything! I will confirm that the bathroom louvered window, still has a screen installed. We just had the window frame/sill painted and perhaps the painter did not replace the screen? ;(
We thank you again for your stay and we hope to hear from you again, on your return visit to the No Shore of Kauai!
Great little space
This space is perfect if you're traveling with your spouse. (I would not recommend it with kids.) The condo was INCREDIBLY clean when we arrived, and Pamela the owner was VERY responsive to our questions (we had a random bug spraying of the lanai during our visit). The location is quiet, easily accessible, and has a lovely view. My one and only "complaint" is that the shower never offered more than 10 minutes of hot water at a time (most likely due to the sharing with the neighbors); however, our sunburn later proved for that to be irrelevant (😜). Overall, this space is wonderful and if you want to stay on the north side of the island, I highly recommend here!
Very Peaceful with a view from the bedroom.
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo in Princeville. The neighborhood is super quiet and close to 2 hidden beaches you can walk to on a trail as well as Queen's Bath so you don't have to worry about parking. You can also walk to the Princeville village for their local market on Sunday nights. Just don't expect there is a couch and yes the kitchen and fridge our tiny but somehow still can work for 2 people. The breeze is nice as well in May.
Thank you for taking the time to write this nice review! Our location is very special. Yes, it is a perfect place for two!
Thank you again for being our guests!
The beauty of our location and setting is that you can enjoy all of the above activities, attractions and service/businesses, within walking distance or a short drive. There is public transportation, also but why limit yourself?
