Classified 4 stars in the tourist accommodation of the city of Avignon, the cottage is in the countryside but very close to the city center (4.5 km).

It consists of a fully equipped open kitchen.
On the ground floor and upstairs, a bedroom with its bathroom and toilet.
The upstairs bedroom has a seating area, it opens onto a roof terrace with a view of the countryside.

The cottage is equipped with a reversible air conditioning. IT adjoins our house but we each have our own entrance and are
really all independent.

You can easily park your vehicle.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The reservation must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise it will not be validated.

The kitchen was clean, appliances new, and it had everything that we needed to cook a meal. The only problem we experienced was the low lighting after dark. The location is quiet and peaceful. You will need a car to get around. Chantel was a very gracious host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice location in Aviagnon

Very friendly host in a more rural environment . Very good parking space and easy to find. It was wonderfully located, and the hosts were so hospitable and helpful.

Very nice stay at quiet location

Very friendly reception at arrival. The house had everything we needed. Location is perfect, very quiet but you need a car. We stayed with 4 adults. The lay-out of the house provides enough privacy. The garden and extra space was great.

One of our best ever stays!

The lovely little house is located in a semi-rural area on the edge of Avignon. A car is needed, but it is only a 10 - 15 minute drive to an enormous free parking lot which has a frequent free shuttle into the heart of Avignon. A larger supermarket is less than a 10 minute drive. The house was perfect for two couples. One bedroom with full bath is located on the main floor and separate from the common area, The other, second floor, bedroom is very large, has a full bath and a walk out to a large balcony. The negative for some might be the rather steep, open stairs to reach it. The living/dining/kitchen area is also large and nicely furnished. The kitchen is exceptionally well supplied, and there is a large washing maching and dryer. Everything is in perfect working order. Chantel, the landlord, lives next door, and she or a member of her family are easily available if necessary. We wished our travel plans had allowed us to stay longer.

A memorable stay

My husband and I stayed in this cosy cottage for a month. We also hosted a friend here for a couple of weeks. The cottage is spacious, full of natural light, clean and set in an a large green meadow! The tranquility of this place made every day perfect! The two bedrooms with their own showers and toilets were modern . The living / dining area was comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and we were able to cook whenever we felt like it. The host Chantal is warm, welcoming and an absolute treasure. She was ever so kind to us.It was clear she wanted us to have the best time! Chantal organised French lessons gave me a French cooking lesson in her own kitchen , invited us to drinks with her charming husband Gaby and daughter Marjorie. Chantal gave us insight s into places to visit around the region and dining options. All in all we had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage with its own private entrance and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The Old City of Avignon is a fascinating place packed with culture, history, shopping and superb restaurants. We did excursions to towns and villages like Aix en Provence, Roussillon etc all just a day’s excursion .So the location, just 15 minutes from the old town of Avignon and close to supermarkets, Sunday farmers markets and interesting historical sites is fantastic. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und doch ist man schnell im Zentrum von Avignon oder auf dem Weg zu einer der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence. Die Kommunikation mit Chantal, der Gastgeberin, war mehr als herzlich! Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und ihre Tipps, wo man am besten einkaufen oder in Avignon parken kann, waren goldwert! Man hat die Unterkunft für sich, aber sie wohnt direkt nebenan und ist bei der kleinsten Frage sofort da. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Dazu gibt es im Wohnzimmer und in den Schlafzimmern eine Klimaanlage, die auch bei Bedarf heizt. Nach einem langen Tag voll trubeligem Sightseeing dort in die Unterkunft zurückzukommen, haben wir immer sehr genossen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

Toller Aufenthalt trotz großer Hitze

Wir haben uns im Haus richtig wohl gefühlt. Es ist geräumig und wohnlich eingerichtet - ein richtiges Zuhause. Der Klimaanlage ist es zu verdanken, dass wir estrotz der großen Hitze gut im Haus aushalten und nachts auch gut schlafen konnten. Die Lage vom Haus ist super. In 15 Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt von Avignon oder auch bei den großen Einkaufszentren. Auch für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist es ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Und trotzdem ist es ruhig, die Umgebung schön grün. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und unaufdringlich. Weil es so heiß war hat sie uns sogar 3x ihren Privatpool zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Danke für alles, Madame Chantal!

Fantastisch verblijf!

Wij hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad, dankzij het verblijf in deze geweldige woning. De ontvangst was hartelijk, het huis schoon, comfortabel en echt van alles voorzien. Goede bedden, nette handdoeken en linnen, airco in alle kamers, alles heel netjes en verzorgd. Een mooi terras met een fantastisch uitzicht. De eigenaren zijn super lieve, gastvrije mensen die met alles willen helpen. Hebben er duidelijk veel plezier in om gasten te ontvangen. Maar bieden ook alle privacy. Wij hebben echt genoten!!

Wohlfühloase am Stadtrand von AvignonDas sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus, umgeben von Wiesen und Feldern, liegt mit dem Fahrrad 15 Minuten entfernt vom Zentrum. Chantal ist eine liebenswerte und großzügige Gastgeberin, die uns wertvolle Hinweise für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben hat. In dem Haus und auf der Terrasse haben wir eine wunderschöne Woche erlebt und können es gerne weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schönes Appartement in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Appartement vorgefunden mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten und unmittelbar an einem Fahrradweg gelegen, der direkt in wenigen Minuten ins Zentrum führt.Wir haben uns bewußt für die ruhige Lage entschieden und diese Kriterien erfüllt diese Wohnung voll - Blick über die Felder und Vogelgezwitscher und keine direkten Nachbarn.Wir wurden von der sehr freundlichen Gastgeberin mit Wein und selbst gemachter Konfitüre begrüßt und haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.Wir würden gerne wieder buchen - klare Empfehlung!

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen

Liebe Chantal, wir haben Ihre Aufforderung wahr gemacht und Ihre geräumige Ferienwohnung zu einem ZuHause für uns gemacht: Die Tagesdecke aufs Sofa, die Liegestühle auf die Dachterrasse, zwei Stühle als Bekleidungsablage in die Schlafzimmer getan. Da wir leider eine kühle und regnerische Woche erwischt hatten, war die Wohnung ein großer Wohlfühlfaktor. Das obere Schlafzimmer mit Couch und Videogerät haben wir jeden Abend als Kino genutzt. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, so dass wir leicht eine Abendspeise zubereiten konnten. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr schön ruhig, was uns wichtig wahr. Allerdings haben wir sämtliche Aktivitäten mit dem Auto begonnen, da fußwegig wenig attraktives ist. Wir waren im Vasarely Museum in Aix, haben Frank Gehrys LumaTurm in Arles bewundert, DavidBowieFotoausstellung in Remy besucht (noch bis September 25 geöffnet), einen regnerischen BrocanteBesuch in L'isle genossen UND am letzten Urlaubstag bei Sonnenschein eine wunderschöne Wanderung von Venasque nach Le Beaucet und zurück gemacht. Der kühle Rosé oben in Venasque hat uns versöhnt mit dem gemischten Wetter in der Karwoche.Liebe Chantal, danke für Ihre Freundlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft, Diskretion, Hilfsbereitschaft (Leselampe!!!) und Ermutigung mein rudimentäres Französich einzusetzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder - herzlichst Rosa P.S: Ganz wichtig, unbedingt über Av.de l'Amandier nicht über Av. des Aulnes anfahren.

Wunderschönes provenzalisches Ferienhäuschen in Avignon

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem schönen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist toll, ländliche und doch nur vier Kilometer von der Altstadt Avignons entfernt. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin für den netten Empfang.

Bucolic find near busy Avignon

This lovely gite was such a surprise to find down a country lane on the outskirts of Avignon. From there we had easy access by car to the beautiful hill towns of the Luberon and by public transport to Avignon itself. Simply furnished, well equipped, and with a private patio, we so enjoyed returning to its peace and quiet after hectic days of sightseeing. Our charming host Chantal was right next door and there if we needed her though we had complete privacy throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

My friend and I have spent a beautiful and relaxing week in Chantal’s gite. The house is in between some fields, but still very close to Avignon's city center. The place was clean, well organized and well-equipped. And there was plenty of space! Chantal is also a very committed host. She was always available and helped us whenever we needed suggestions. Highly recommended!
