Islecroft House B&B, overlooks the picturesque harbour of the Isle of Whithorn, one of the most southerly fishing villages in the Machars Peninsula of Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It has 3 contemporary style en-suite guest bedrooms, comprising of a double, a twin, and a family room, all having harbour and sea views, overlooking the Isle of Whithorn village. All en-suite rooms are located on the first floor, with the breakfast room downstairs, again with wonderful sea views. There is an outdoor, patio decking area for guests to enjoy as well as a garden to the rear offering uninterrupted views across the harbour. Ample off street parking is available at the front of the property. Islecroft House B&B is pet friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome in the guest bedrooms at no additional charge. There are some beautiful coastal walks to explore right from our doorstep. Sandy beaches are also close by for your furry friends to enjoy. The Isle of Whithorn has a pub, The Steam Packet Inn, a tearoom, shop, village hall, parish church, two art galleries, the Five Kingdoms Brewery, as well as the Wigtown Bay Sailing Club. Visitors to the area are drawn here for our beautiful beaches, coastal scenic walks, cycling, bird watching, photography and visiting local historical sites and gardens.
