Locates between arles, avignon, salon de giraud and saints maries de la mer the farmhouse offers an insight to bull breeding and local farming life. The farm products are delicious and the family offers a warm welcome. The dogs around come to say hello any time you sit outside. Nice place to be. A car is mandatory to visit all near by cities (0.5-1.5 hrs)

Wonderful stay in the heart of the wild Camargue. No better way to experience true life in Camargue
Big, well furnished house, with spacious rooms and practical layout. All windows equipped with bug-netting, which is really needed! Very helpful owners. Excellent experience of bull and horse farming life and great dogs to play in the courtyard, plus bats to observe flying in the twilight. Camargue was great, lots of beaches with space!!! Biking, sightseeing in Arles, bird watching. We could not have had a better vacation.

Like being in a Western to a Van Gogh painting
Gite great! Great ranch, countryside and near lovely Arles. However, we didn't drive and nearest shop was almost a 2 hour walk, which we had been led to believe was a short walk. If you have a car, cannot fault, otherwise be prepared to worry about food.
We stayed for 3 weeks. This is our second stay in the Camargue and we are enchanted by it. The manade itself is large and quite busy, sometimes a bit noisy as they occasionally get large groups visiting. But that doesn't matter as it was fascinating to watch them at work with the horses and bulls. Brigitte was kind enough to take us in her truck to watch a round-up, which was fascinating. She and her family were also very helpful when asked. And the nightingales! We were surrounded by them, a treat we don't get in Cornwall. It was also a perfect base from which to explore the area. If you are a nature lover it could hardly be better.
Vielen Dank an Brigitte Blanc

AVIS unanime
