Very clean and organized, very close to things we went to but unfortuntaely it was was very noisy despite the complimentary earplugs. Great for people who plan to stay out late and enjoy the nightlife though!

Clean but noisy
Clean but noisy city centre flat, bedroom was smaller than expected, bathroom was lacking, (I’ll fitted toilet seat, poor water pressure) kitchen was adequate but scruffy. It was sufficient for a work trip, wouldn’t want to holiday here.

Not very good but quite all right, unless you hate noise and stay inside a lot
We were lucky to find this alternative within one day when Alexander Apartments did not communicate through the VRBO app and we could not check in into their apartment. Powdene House is right in the centre which has advantages and inconveniences too. You come in through the back which was quite unattractive at first but for a short stay acceptable. The apartment is best for two but we were four and managed. At night there is quite lot of noise which could spoil your night but we were very tired both nights and slept through most of it. We missed the coffee machine that uses paper filters and drips water onto the coffee. Very cheap hint hint... The kitchen is very basic and much of the apartment is a bit old and used but we went out all the time and did not mind too much. There was a car park just around the corner which was great. And shops and Grainger market all very close by. That's what we came for and enjoyed. The apartment gets a six or seven out ten.
