Situated just a short drive away from the beautiful beach at Spanish Point, on the Wild Atlantic Way, this spacious, detached holiday home is particularly suitable for a seaside family holiday. Spanish Point Beach, commonly known as White Strand, is great for picnics, rock pool exploration, and all kind of water sports. Whitewater Surf Company offers surf and kayaking lessons as well as equipment rental to people of all ages.

Spanish Point has a local shop and pub and is only 3 km from Miltown Malbay, a bustling village with great pubs and restaurants. Visit Spanish Point Golf Club located 2.5km away from Southland Holiday Home with a mature and beautiful 9-hole classic Links course, one of the oldest in Ireland.

From your seaside holiday home in Spanish Point, you are close to Lahinch, the Cliffs of Moher, Loop Head, and all the beautiful attractions of County Clare.
Southland Holiday Home Description – Sleeps 8 This spacious coastal holiday home is ideal for a large family gathering on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. This holiday home has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8:

- Large kitchen and dining area
- Two living rooms with flat screen TV’s and open fire
- Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2
- Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2
- Bedroom 3: double sleeping 2
- Bedroom 4: twin sleeping 2
- Family bathroom with separate shower, hand basin & WC

Outside this spacious holiday home is a large mature lawned garden.

Local area & Tourist Attractions Spanish Point is a little seaside village on the West Coast of Clare, right on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is 4.5 km along the coast to the fishing village of Quilty and 3 km inland from the market town of Miltown Malbay.

IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Heating and Electricity:
Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for electricity at this property is €9 per day all year around and the oil is meter read and based on consumption. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

3. Towels:
Unfortunately, this property does not supply towels. You will have to bring your own sets of towels.

4. Number of Guests:
To ensure everything is ready for your arrival, please provide the correct number of guests when booking. The property is prepared based on this information, and unfortunately, any additional guests not included in the booking won’t be able to stay.

Lovely house

Such a lovely house, spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Everything you could need is in the house. Beautiful enclosed back garden and sitting area. Mary was so kind and lovely to deal with, great place to stay to explore Clare.

Absolutely lovely house! Only downfall was the dryer was out of order, not a big deal at all. Mary was so easy to speak with. We are so happy that we chose this house for our family vacation! The whole house was so beautiful. Plenty of room for our family. Beds were very comfy and the house was very clean! Highly recommend!

Mary and Seamus were fantastic to deal with and the house was fabulous really good location and great back garden for kids to play in. House was fully equipped with anything you could need and the second sitting room was great for kids to use while adults used the main room. We will be going again for certain

Spacious Holiday Home

Southland is beautifully furnished and a very comfortable and spacious holiday home located in an ideal spot to explore County Clare. We were given a warm welcome by the owners who were able to provide lots of recommendations of places to visit as well as tell us about the features of their home. Do read the Terms and Conditions of hire carefully to ensure you're aware that there's an additional charge for daily electricity and heating. While some coffee pods and tea bags were provided, there was no milk, so take some with you for your first cuppa!

Very comfortable family getaway

The spacious house and enclosed back garden made our stay very comfortable. There were toys for the kids and plenty of rooms! The tvs were a little difficult to navigate.
