Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: About 7 miles outside of Bodmin, in Cornwall, is a small settlement called St Breward. The community has a store, a village hall, a church, two playgrounds, and a tavern, providing all the amenities you'll need while you're there. A pathway in the village makes a lovely loop that passes the church, the holy well, and the River Camel. You may also take use of the Camel Trail in the area, which winds through Wadebridge on its way to the sea at Padstow and is popular with both bikers and pedestrians. The intriguing museum and eerie presence of the former Bodmin Jail, which was constructed from granite taken from this very quarry back in 1840, are located on the outskirts of the town of Bodmin.
