About this property
Blossom Barn - Beautiful Grade 2 listed barn conversion
Set on the beautiful, unspoilt Cornish coast in the grounds of Penwarne Manor is a collection of lovingly converted barns. Blossom Barn is one of five, Grade II listed stone cottages, renovated to a high standard.
Penwarne Manor nestles, secluded in the Portmellon valley and yet less than a mile from Mevagissey. An historic fishing village with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
It's just a 10 minute walk to the beach at Portmellon with the newly renovated Rising Sun pub, coffee shack and paddle board and kayak hire shop.
Close to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and The Eden Project. You can get the ferry to Fowey and hopefully spot some dolphins, drive along the Roseland Peninsular and visit the many beaches along the way. The North Coast is only a short drive away if you fancy trying surfing.

My family and I loved our stay at Blossom Barn. From the goodies that awaited us on arrival (the chocolate brownies were amazing!), to the peaceful setting, the comfortable beds and the fun of an "upside down house" - it all helped to make our holiday a success.hholiday a
We had 4 fabulous nights at Blossom Barn with our grown up son. The barn was easy to find and check in was smooth. The barn itself was spacious, spotless and has everything you would need. Ample parking which was helpful. We also found that the barn is extremely quiet even though there are neighbours either side. We loved the upside down aspect as it meant the bedrooms were lovely and cool on a hot week. Quality White Company bedding and towels too. Easy walk to Mevagissey one way and down to the little beach in the other direction. We had a fabulous meal in The Rising Sun walkable from the barn. Would happily book again, perfect hoilday
My Wife, Son, and I stayed in Blossom Barn. Loved the house - immaculately clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Very nice kitchen space, and again immaculately clean. (Perhaps some more slightly smaller ovenware would be useful in a house for 4.) Very nice setting with zero noise and light pollution (we all slept very well). Vicky and Nathan are very friendly and happy to offer advice for days out etc. Would definitely recommend it.
Good accommodation and very high standard. Drive up to cottage could do with attention and if you had a lower car you may struggle not to catch valence. Feel that should be made clear you need to drive up public footpath.
An amazing property with every possible thing you could wish for. When we arrived we were greeted by fresh flowers on the table, chocolate brownies, and a very generous welcome pack which was really appreciated by all. The property itself is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, good wifi, and every attention to detail imaginable. I would highly recommend it.

prachtig appartement, goed compleet ingericht.
Bijzonder smaakvol ingericht. Vlakbij een authentiek en gezellig havendorpje. Mooie omgeving.
De vloer van het woongedeelte kraakte enorm, dat was voor de kinderen hinderlijk omdat dat in de slaapkamer eronder veel lawaai gaf. De tweepersoonsbed was erg smal.

Thank you for your review. Feedback is really important to us and it was lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We were sorry to hear that you felt the solid wood floor creaked - that sometimes happens in converted barns. The John Lewis Ercol double bed is a standard British size.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location
Fabulous renovated cottage in a peaceful location but only minutes away from Mevagissey for meals out. The welcome pack was very generous and a delicious cake was waiting for us too. Would definitely stay again.
