Lovely & spacious 4 bedroom ‘New England' style holiday cottage with hot tub overlooking Windrush Lake. It is furnished & equipped to a high standard. The open plan living area leads to a well furnished south facing sun deck with gas BBQ, rattan outdoor seating, table, chairs & parasol.

Everything was fantastic

From the moment we stepped through the door , everything was so welcoming . It was a lovely touch that the house had been decorated for christmas . Everything was spotless and there was everything we needed for or stay and more . The only thing we didnt use was the hot tub as it was a bit cold and we were kept busy with other activities

Lovely spot in the country to relax with friends and family.

Great house situated in a fantastic location, giving you lake views and the ability to explore the countryside as well as a number of cute Cotswolds villages. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with friends and family.

Fabulous accommodation

Amazing place to stay! Fantastically clean, wonderful hot tubs and views, comfortable accommodation lovely bedrooms and every kitchen utensil imaginable- would t hesitate to book again. Only point to note is main bedroom is large but the other 3 are quite small with limited wardrobe space.

Brilliant weekend

What an amazing weekend with friends. The property had everything we needed aswell as being clean and tidy. The beds were really comfy and the hot tub definitely topped it off. I will defo be booking a weekend again with family.

Windrush was a fine base from which to explore the Cotswolds with our grandchildren and their parents. The house is excellently presented and comprehensively equipped.

June weekend, lovely place

We stayed here for a weekend in June 24. It’s one of the nicest I’ve stayed in, all of the furniture and fittings were in lovely order, it was cosy and comfortable. We were missing a couple of towels which they sent round with little delay. They gave us early check in and a late check out as they had availability without us asking which was a nice touch.

Fabulous property!

Had a wonderful stay, the property was very clean. well kept and kitted out. We loved the view from the decking area, the hot tub and the location. The downstairs space was great for our party of 6 and parking was easy and (on our visit) plentiful which cannot be said for some other properties in the wider area. Orion were on hand to support throughout our stay and were also superb. I cannot rate the property and Orion highly enough. If we could change one thing it would be to have an extra bathroom as we did struggle with 4 using the family bathroom when trying to get out for a particular time but that wouldn’t stop us returning here.

Whilst another bathroom would always be a bonus, many of our guests simply share the ensuite shower room with the occupants of that room and the downstairs cloakroom when everyone is trying to get ready at the same time. Absolutely Beautiful Home and Setting - Would highly recommend

Having never stayed here before, we did not know what to expect, and we were certainly not disappointed. The location was brilliant, very easy to find. The house was beautiful, the view over the lake was wonderful. Every detail had been thought about, the kitchen was fully equipped and contained everything you would need and more. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfortable and we all had an amazing time. There were lovely restaurants in the area and some great places to visit. We look forward to returning in the near future and would not hesitate to recommend this fabulous place.

Probably the best Lodge on Windrush Lake

From our visit engagement with Orion Holidays to walking through the front door of the Lodge then nothing could have been better. Everything in the Lodge was top class, new and had clearly been recently renovated / updated. The actual South facing location of the Lodge meant the sun was shinning of the decking all day. This made spending the time in the jacuzzi after a busy day exploring the Cotswolds even more enjoyable. Everything in the Lodge was top notch and spotlessly clean and tidy. Two fridges, a large wine chiller, comfortable outside furniture and BBQ made it all very relaxing. This Lodge was one of the best we have ever stayed at and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Cotswolds Lakes.

A Girlie Get Together

A group of 7 friends spent 2 nights at Windrush Lakes and we weren't disappointed. The accommodation was outstanding! Everything from the furniture to the outside seating areas, and the added bonus was the Hot Tub. The kitchen was fully fitted with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were all very comfy, the showers were powerful and hot, and the living/dinning area was very spacious and comfortable. The outside decking area was large with comfortable seating areas and a great view of the lake. There was a large Webber BBQ at the property but we didn't use it. The Hot Tub was lovely and set at the right temperature. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return!

Best Lodge on the lake

This was our second visit to Sun Kissed Lodge and yet again it was absolutely brilliant. It was spotlessly clean and provided everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. We were again blessed with great sunny weather and having a south facing patio and hot tub we certainly made the most of it. We were extremely grateful of the fan that was dropped off due to the unusually high temperatures we had for the first couple of days. The Lodge is a great central location for so many places to visit and eat. Once again thanks to all at Orion holidays for making our holiday extra special and we look forward to returning again.

Great lodge

A lovely well equipped Lodge with lake views. We were 8 ladies and our only issue was that 2 of the bedrooms have very small 2’3” single beds. These 2 bedrooms are also quite small so cannot accommodate larger beds. Having said that the views, the hot tub and the great location more than made up for it

Family mini break

From the moment we booked, the professionalism of Orion holidays was amazing. Just before we arrived we were told our holiday home was ready well in advance of the expected arrival time, which was fabulous. The gardens around the site are like e bury gardens, so well kept . My son in laws and grandson enjoyed the fishing on isis lake. There was plenty to do for the young and not so young. There was lots of information in the house about walks in the area, which we did every day. The cleanliness and equipment in the house felt like home from home. We will definitely return very soon. Would most definitely recommend

Perfect for a stay with the family

Sun kissed lodge is literally that. We were lucky with the weather and it was bathed in sun all day. The view over the lake is spectacular. I went with my husband, son, daughter in law and 10 year old twin grandsons. The twins loved paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake all day. We could see them very well from the patio, which felt very safe. The lodge itself is well equipped and very comfortable. We BBQ'd every day and the hot tub was a bonus. We also played tennis and the boys enjoyed snooker and table football in the clubhouse. Outside the park are numerous restaurants and of course the beach on a nearby lake. We have been to Cotswold Water Park for the last 3 years and will be going again next year. This was the best lodge so far.

A delightful location and a holiday home that provides everything.

We used this holiday home as a base whilst we attended a three day wedding celebration. Despite it being an August Bank Holiday weekend it was relaxing and quiet, the view over the lake with its own fountain enabled us to wind down following some very active celebrations. The House is extremely well equipped and,although we were a party of seven, felt spacious. The weather was kind to us and we were able to enjoy the decking and hot tub. However, due to our commitments we did not partake in any of the on site activities. The staff at Orion Holidays were great, extremely, obliging, friendly, 5* The only point worth a mention is that the two smaller bedrooms are small! If you request them to be made up as doubles the bed is pushed hard against a wall, not easy for those senior members having to climb over their bed companion to access the bathroom during the night ! Left as two singles there is a narrow gap between the beds.

A relaxing family break

We immediately felt relaxed on seeing the spacious well furnished lounge diner with the Christmas tree and the Christmas decorations scattered round the room. The generous welcome gifts were much appreciated and the Christmas card was a lovely touch. The sofas proved to be super comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped. The direct view of the lake is beautiful and the hot tub provided hours of enjoyment. Walks round the lake, games on the tennis courts and long walks meant that we didn't need to drive over the break making it a very relaxing Christmas.

Birthday Celebration

I came here with my boyfriend for my Aunt's birthday. As it was November and a rainy grey weekend, the Hot Tub kept us entertained. My brother was in it for dawn and I went in after dinner to see stars. With Cirencester nearby and many walks it didn't matter the weather wasn't in tune with our happy mood. It was a super break and great to have all the family together.
