Amazing!

The apartment and its location were perfect. It was close reataurants, shops and short walks to everything you need to see while in Florence. Valentina is a great host. If you are visiting Florence this is the place to stay. Valentina is a great host. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Apartment in perfect location!

The photos don't really do this place justice. It's really beautiful inside and the layout is great. 2 bathrooms was nice since we had kids with us. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and everything was no more than a 10 min walk away so location is awesome! Would definitely recommend!

Great place in the middle of Florence!

This apartment was a great place! We had 4 adults and it was very spacious with comfy beds, two great bathrooms, laundry capabilities, and a perfect location. Easy walk anywhere! Would definitely recommend! One thing to note: it was up several flights of stairs (I think 60+ stairs) which was harder for my older parents, and I hadn't seen that mentioned in the listing, though I know that's typical for this area. We also had a hiccup checking in but were able to chat with Valentina to figure it out - she was very responsive. Thanks for the great stay!

Lovely, but . . .

Lovely property, but difficult to find because we did not have a street address. Our taxi driver didn't recognize Cimatori as a street. Knowing there were 66 steps from street level would have made a difference to us in choosing this unit. Moving luggage up that stairway was difficult. Location is exceptionally good.

Pros and cons for this VRBO stay

The positives: Owner was great at communication before the stay. She was very flexible with us checking in early and leaving our bags for a few hours after check out. The location is perfect and a short walk to all of Florence’s major sites. It was nice to have two bedrooms plus a study with a pull out couch. The property is very clean and well-stocked. The negatives: There is a very strong smell of sewage coming from the bathrooms. I know that the sewers are quite old in Florence. Some places we stayed in Italy mitigated this with automatic deodorizers. We also had no hot water the entire time we were there which made showering quite unpleasant. I messaged the owner about this and a question about check out. She responded 2 days later answering the check out question but I never got a response regarding the lack of hot water. We are pretty easy going guests traveling through Europe over 5 weeks and these were the most notable negatives we have experienced to date.

Spacious, comfortable and centrally located

This Italian style apartment was perfect for us. It was extremely spacious and clean. The mattresses were firm and pillows fluffy. The apartment is smack down in the middle of town. It is a 1 to 7 minute walk to shopping, restaurants and local attractions! The host is extremely responsive and helpful. If you have never been to Europe please educate yourself and baee your accommodation expectations to the country you are visiting. This apartment has stairs more than a few and they are narrow. Our small carry on fit perfectly through the stairs for any huge suitcases going upstairs can be a struggle. Also there is noise on the streets . If you are a light sleeper you might not like it. I found that closing the windows make the bedroom quieter besides you are tired from walking all day. If you are on the bigger size you might find most European showers quite small. For us the shower was a bit tight. I gave this apartment 5 stars because of the price, location, layout, responsiveness of the host. It is great value for your money. Enjoy

Great location! Could use some improvements.

First, the location is incredible for touring the sites. The Duomo, the galleries, the David, are all very close by, and there are tons of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars right outside the front door. The location is certainly the best aspect, and the main reason why we would definitely consider returning to this place! Now, the listing says 3rd floor walk up, but the stairs really make it feel like you’re on the 5th or 6th floor, and we’re all in our 30s. Climbing the Duomo somehow seemed easier! I’m only half kidding here. Parking the car was not very clear when we arrived and luckily, we avoided any ZTL fees, but it was confusing. There were only three rolls of toilet paper provided between the two bathrooms, and four guests staying three nights. Not enough! No hand soap either! No paper towels in the kitchen. Basic things like this go a long way when you’re traveling. We had to pick up these supplies at a nearby market. Really appreciated the air conditioning floor units since they act as white noise machines and outside is a very busy street. The light in the kitchen flickers sometimes. Opening the windows let in quite a lot of mosquitos in the month of November. The location is really what sells this place! The price is good, and the place is clean. Maybe not “eat off the floor” clean, but definitely clean enough for us!! All in all, I would recommend this place to my friends and family, and I would probably stay here again.

Leider nicht wie gewünscht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und die Gastgeberin hat auch schnell geantwortet. Der Rest war leider nicht so toll. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert kaum, der Strom war permanent überlastet. Gesamt machte die Unterkunft eine runtergewirtschaften Eindruck...

En plein coeur du centre ville

Bon séjour à Florence. Bel appartement, bien équipé, climatisation dans les 3 chambres appréciée. Situé idéalement en plein centre de Florence, mais du coup bruyant en soirée et la nuit, 2 chambres sur 3 donnant sur la rue avec des commerces en dessous. Hôte sympathique et disponible.
