Fully equipped apartment but a lot of stairs
We just stayed in this apartment and it's very nice and big. We had tempatures of 33° and the apartment was really hot because it's placed right under the roof. But it was also really hot outside.
The kitchen is really nice with diswasher, microwave, gasstove, oven ect. We could have used more table knives and the mikrowave was placed akwarkly but otherwise perfect kitchen.
On paper the apartment sleeps 6 people but we were 6 adults and two of us should have slept on a bedloft in one of the two bedrooms. The latter was narrow and steap and in the end non of us wanted to sleep up there so we moved the matras to the living room.
The apartment is in a very quite street and there is supermarkets very close by. There is also a lot of cafes and restaurants in the neighboorhood. In walking distance of metro and sights.
It's really practical that the bathroom and toilet is two different rooms so one can shower and an other can use the toilet.
Really nice apartment in the Marais.
The description of this apartment exactly matches the actual property. The location is great for getting around not only the Marais, but all of Paris. The owners were helpful and responsive. The apartment was very clean and quite large.
Fantastic time had by ALL!
This apartment was just perfect for us 4 adults during our stay in Paris. The owner was there to meet us upon arrival to orientate us with the apartment and even drew us a map of how to easily use the buses to get to some exciting places. He was great about letting us come by early to drop off our luggage the day of check in and also was very accommodating when we asked to leave the luggage after check out and pick it up on our way out of town. This apartment had everything. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the kitchen had all we needed. We even had the luxury of doing a load of laundry as there is also washer and dryer there. The one shower wasn't a problem for the 4 of us since at least one of us showered at night and there is a separate toilet room. The entire apartment is very spacious and we felt like we all had plenty of room to spread out and put our feet up after a long day of walking. There was WIFI which was awesome and a TV (although we didn't use it), and if you needed to just have some space you could just retreat to one of the bedrooms. This place really felt like it was a home you could relax in. The 95 steps from the entrance of the building to the front door of the apartment could be a bit tough after a full day, but for the space and privacy once you entered, it is well worth it. Person's with physical disabilities should not consider this one with all the steps. This apartment was very close to Notre Dame and the Louvre Museum and very close to the metro and bus stops which made getting around very easy. Restaurants around the apartment were ample and quaint. There is a little market right across from the apartment that has fresh fruit and veggies and incidentals. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a very lovely, clean and convenient place to stay in Paris.
Merci :)
Great place to stay!
This was a great apartment and Mr. Blondeau was very accommodating- he was there to greet us right on time and was flexible with letting us keep our luggage at the apartment for a late check-out. The apartment fit the 5 of us well for space although only having one bathroom for the 5 of us is always tough to get out in the mornings! Also, the 5 flights of stairs up were tough after a long day of walking but worth it! The area was extremely convenient to walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre and many other sights of Paris. We felt safe in our area and my only complaint is that we didn't have enough time there!
Within walking distance to fresh farmer's markets, all museums, Place de Voges, Bastille, and historic Paris, metro and bus 5 minute walk.
