The town of Combe Martin hosts the annual Earl of Rone festival in May and a carnival every August. Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple are all within driving distance, making this a fantastic home base for exploring North Devon. Numerous gardens and properties owned by the National Trust can also be visited. Woolacombe has some of the greatest surfing in the region, and it's conveniently located within a mile of the South West Coastal Path.
