Ca’ Nal is a palazzo dating from the 18th century located in the very heart of Venice, the Marzarie,
only a few steps from the Rialto and San Marco and the historic Bareteri bridge.
Five luxurious apartments each with its own unique character: original antique Venetian terrazzo floors,
original wooden beamed ceilings, a peaceful terrace and a traditional roof top terrace offer exceptional views.
The living area is spacious, bright, and furnished with style and elegance.
The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are well equipped.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and comfort.
A complete renovation took place in the spring of 2015, combining a typical Venetian style with prestigious finishes and every comfort in order to make your Venetian experience truly unforgettable.

The terrace and the altana are connected only to Pupparin.

Unique Venice Apartment!

We have rented many apartments in Europe and this is probably the best to date! Not one but two private terraces. Close to both Rialto and San Marco while being far enough away at the same time. Extremely gracious and helpful host who caters to guests more like a hotel than a VRBO. All around fantastic experience!

Wonderful, historic apartment

Beautiful place with original floors and design. Pay attention to the fact that there is NO LIFT and it is on the top floor. The stairs are also not totally level and narrow. This is only really an issue when you're bringing up your luggage, but they do offer to help. Alberta was a great communicator as well. Venice is magical.

Stop looking and book!

We recently spent 2 weeks in Europe and 3 of those nights were in Venice. The hotels were so expensive so I checked out homeaway. Between searching for hotels and homeaway properties I probably spent 12 hours looking at places just in Venice alone. There are 2 roof top terraces - one overlooks the roofs and one a small street. Our host found us even though I gave her wrong information on where we were standing lol... she also texted and emailed back promptly before our stay. The location is ideal to St. Marks and shopping galore. I would absolutely recommend this property. It was SO IMMACULATELY clean; I know the furniture looked a bit dated but it wasn't thats the style. We used the washing machine with some detergent we picked up at the co-op store. We cooked several meals after buying fresh ingredients and enjoyed many wines on the rooftop. This was the most enjoyable part of our vacation hands down. JUST BOOK IT ALREADY! :) PS: Bring a wine opener, there wasn't one in the room!?!

Wonderful stay in Venice!

We had an amazing trip to Venice that was only made more wonderful by staying in this beautiful apartment. Alexander met us at the vaporetto stop and helped us with luggage and brought us to our apartment. He was very friendly and helpful. He made great suggestions of things to do and places to eat in Venice and the tour he gave of the apartment was thorough. The apartment was impeccably clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The views from the rooftop terrace were beautiful! The location was perfect as well; very close to all main attractions. Prior to our arrival Alberta was so quick to respond to any questions I had. If we are lucky enough to return to Venice in the future, we would certainly stay at Ca'nal Apartments again. Thank you to Alberta and Alexander for the wonderful accommodations!

Venice and San Marco Plaza

This is a very nice property. The location is perfect and the amenities more then ample for a family of 5 or less. All appliances were updated and the HVAC systems, excellent. The owner, Alberta, is very sweet and accommodating. She will make sure your stay in Venice will be a memorable one.

"Pupparin" - ein Traum ...

... ein sehr gepflegtes Appartement in der obersten Etage, in dem alles vorhanden ist, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte perfekt, nachdem wir kurz mit Alberta telefoniert hatten, als wir im Parkhaus an der Piazzale Roma unser Auto geparkt hatten. Sie war, auch schon im Vorfeld unseres Urlaubs, immer erreichbar und hat uns viele Tipps und Erläuterungen gegeben, so dass wir uns sehr schnell heimisch gefühlt haben. Bei der Ankunft fanden wir im Kühlschrank eine große Flasche Wasser vor und auch für Kaffee oder Spülmittel etc. war gesorgt. Die Lage des Hauses : mittendrin - in wenigen Minuten bei den Vaporetti-Stationen, aber auch beim Theater etc. und doch hoch über dem Gewimmel in den Straßen. Die Fenster sind so dicht, dass wir immer gut schlafen konnten und von nächtlichen Ruhestörern auf der Straße kaum etwas mitbekamen. Gegen Abend wird es eh ruhiger in der Stadt und dass es mitten in Venedig nicht absolut still ist, sollte eigentlich klar sein. Bei den hochsommerlichen Temperaturen schätzten wir auch die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Wir hatten das Appartement spontan gebucht, nachdem wir zum x-ten Mal einen Donna Leon Krimi im dt. Fernsehen gesehen und Commisario Brunetti um seine Wohnung mit der Terrasse beneidet hatten :-) . Wie wir von unseren italienischen Freunden wissen ist er, wie auch die Autorin, den meisten Italienern unbekannt, aber wir können ihnen versichern, dass der Blick von der Altana absolut mit Brunettis Terrasse konkurrieren kann! Wir waren schon etliche Male in Venedig, aber diese Wohnung war mit Abstand unsere schönste Unterkunft. In diesem Sinne - grazie per tutto Alberta e a la prossima volta ! Certo !

Bon emplacement,bel appartement,terrasse et vue sur Venise

Très bel appartement,plutot moderne côté déco qui reste dans le charme vénitien .. La loggia tout en haut avec vue sur la ville est L atout majeur.. Accueillis de façon sympathique. L emplacement est super,dans une partie chic de la ville. Par contre la note de 3 étoiles sur 5 se justifie du très très peu de choses mise à disposition: Pas de produits d'accueil,ni bouteille d eau,ni minimum dans les placards tels que bouteille d huile etc.. Cuisine: pas d éponge,ni essuie tout,ni serviette pour les mains ou torchon côté cuisine. salle de bain: Douche à L italienne très jolie,mais 1seule petite dosette hôtel de gel douche,la meme de shampoing à notre arrivée. Peu de papier toilettes (Rupture,et nous N étions que 2) Chambre: Sobre mais mignonne,plutot spacieuse pour Venise. 2 lits simples avec 2 matelas collés Et qui se séparent facilement quand L un des 2 se retourne..(dommage) Salon: A deux/trois personnes C est très bien,.à plus... (Pr manger,regarder la télé étc..) 4 eme etage sans ascenseur: Aucun souci,les étages se montent facilement (le dernier escalier plus raide est un peu plus fatiguant mais rapide) Par contre étonnée que personne N en N ait parlé dans les commentaires précédents: Ce N était pas notre cas,mais sommeils légers abstenez vous: Cage d escalier très bruyante(on entend tout!!) et surtout,le revers de la médaille de la superbe vue: La proximité des clochers qui sonnent donc très fort (meme la nuit). En résumé, Bel appartement qui allie modernité et style vénitien Vue sur la ville qui vaut réellement le coup( un petit dejeuner au soleil avec vue sur les toits de Venise est un régal) Très bon emplacement Quelques petites choses à améliorer pour L accueil des hôtes. Je recommande!! Très bon séjour à tous!

Perfect Pupparin Apartment Stay

I was sad to be leaving this beautiful apartment after a wonderful weekend stay. I traveled solo for work and Pupparin was perfect in every way for my needs; location amazingly cental, relatively quiet (considering its proximity to a main thoroughfare) and nicely laid out and appointed. The two outdoor spaces were a fantastic place to have coffee and breakfast, or wind down in the evening. I would likely stay here (or in one of the other apartments if traveling with family) again in the near future. I would say it would be best for one person or a couple. Definitely consider that this apartment is on the top floor and is a walk up... Finally, but significantly, Alberta was very accessible and an extremely gracious and welcoming host. I had a truly positive experience from beginning to end and would not hesitate to recommend the apartment.
