What a view!

My friend had found and rented a unit in this building two floors above our ground level one. When we decided to join in on part of their trip, we were able to get another in the same spot. It is convenient to Stresa but out of the bustle and with an incredible view of Lake Maggiore. The unit was spotless, modern with white as the dominate color, making it feel light open and airy. Appointments felt upscale and comfortable. The owners live in the very top unit and we’re readily accessible but not intrusive. The driveway was steep but doable in a small car, and gated. There is a patio right outside the door to sit with coffee to watch the morning sunrise over the lake and a higher viewing area on the top floor as well. The washer in the unit worked very well. There is no dryer, but there is a drying rack and many hangers to facilitate drying. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Mooi appartement

Het appartement is goed bereikbaar via Baveno of Stresa. Het laatste stukje is bergop, maar je arriveert dan op een ruime parkeerplaats voor de auto’s. Het ontvangst van Dana is bijzonder hartelijk. Het appartement is keurig verzorgd en heeft een bijzonder mooi uitzicht op het Lago Maggiore. In de omgeving is er genoeg te beleven, waaronder Stresa, Baveno, de berg Mottarone en de verschillende meren.

Sauber, modern, toller Ausblick, nette Gastgeber - Top!

Wir sind bei der Ankunft sehr nett empfangen worden. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir haben einen Willkommenssekt, kurze Erklärung und viele Infos über der Ort/ Umgebung erhalten. Wohnung war sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bad ist gut, Dusche groß, Wasserstrahl super. Die zwei Klimaanlagen in Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer sind toll. Wir sind einmal mit der Waschmaschine nicht klargekommen. Die Vermieterin hat uns sofort geholfen. Sie war generell sehr hilfsbereit und immer für Fragen offen. Die Lage war perfekt, ruhig, nur 5 min von Stresa und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Die Auffahrt zum Parkplatz ist relativ steil, war mit unserem VW Golf gut machbar. Das einzige was uns etwas gefehlt hat war eine Spülmaschine. Dies war uns aber durch das Inserat bekannt. Ansonsten war die Küche gut ausgestattet. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Zeer modern en compleet appartement. Ruimte in overvloed. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn fantastisch. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en het is een mooie plek om uitstapjes in de omgeving te maken.

A perfect apartment in a peaceful location with magnificent views. Restaurants in walking distance and easy to get to Stresa and a day trip to Milan by train. Dana was very helpful and friendly and the information folder was very useful. Highly recommended.

Sehr netter Kontakt, Traumhafter Ausblick und tolle Wohnung

Dana ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung toll, bis auf das Fernsehen (kein deutsches Programm), die Zufahrt ist extrem eng und nicht geeignet für Fahrzeuge ohne Bodenfreiheit. Wir wollten ursprünglich mit einem Mini hinfahren, mussten aber dann doch mit unserem Espace fahren. Zum Glück. Oder wegen der Enge auch nicht. Aber mit dem Mini wären wir nicht hin gekommen. Sonst war es echt super.
