Cockington is home to the ancient Cockington Court and a craft centre with glassblowing, and visitors can take a boat over to Brixham or Paignton to see a plethora of marine life. In close proximity to Dartmouth are the English Riviera (a UNESCO Global Geopark), the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boats, and the River Dart.
