Villa Atena is a charming two-story villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Atena you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri. Villa Atena is 170 square meters (1830 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two panoramic private terraces with a view of the sea and of the coastline, two private gardens, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the seventeenth-century historic center of Praiano, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant and a grocery store at 200 meters (660 feet), the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Praiano line at 350 meters (1150 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at roughly 900 meters (990 yards) including 400 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Atena from the street level along a 250-meters (820-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 90 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Atena. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a private parking lot. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
Villa Atena is tended by a caretaker.

The gardens and terraces have several gradients. For this reason the villa is not suitable for small children.


As guests of Villa Atena, upon request and for a fee, you will be able to hire a private chef, schedule relaxing massages or take part in cooking classes and wine tastings.
Swimming Pool
The above-ground swimming pool is 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) large by 4.5 meter (15 feet) long, 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (please enquire with our staff), has a whirlpool corner and has a counter-current swimming machine. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. This area is also equipped with wood benches. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea. The pool is open all year round.
Terrace 1
The first terrace is 7 square meters (75 square feet) large. It is equipped with chairs and a swing. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the swimming pool.
Garden 1
The garden is 45 square meters (485 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. The garden is equipped with a masonry bench, as well as with deck chairs. In the garden you will find a fitness area equipped with an exercise bike, a treadmill and a home gym. From the garden you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the swimming pool.
Entrance LevelTerrace 2
The second terrace is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a sofa, two armchairs and masonry benches, as well as with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coastline.
Living Room
The living room is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a L-shaped sofa. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room also has a window, as well as a large panoramic window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a cased opening. It is very well equipped, with a seven-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a steam oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. The kitchen is also equipped with a satellite television (local channels).
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid light-blue majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the living room through an access area.
Bottom LevelGarden 2
The garden is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. The garden is equipped with a sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs and two sun loungers. From the garden you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of the coastline.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
