Portside - The Mizzen apartment is on the hillside with fabulous views, overlooking Lochinver village, harbour and along Loch Inver. Easy walking distance to the village restaurants and shops.
A cosy home with open plan living space focused on the waterfront views. Well equipped kitchen with 2 ovens, grill, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, pans, utensils, crockery, glasses etc. There is an island plus separate dining table and 2 sofas for relaxing, TV, Wi-Fi & usb charging points. Kitchen linen & basic supplies pack provided.
Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and can have 1 SuperKing bed or 2 singles. Bed linen, shower, hand and floor towels are provided. Bathroom basic pack also provided - 1 paper, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner.
The Mizzen is 25 meters from Portside’s free car parking area, it’s a single storey building attached to Portside House with it’s own balcony/garden and access to a communal garden (shared with Crows Nest & Slipway cabins) both areas are fenced off from Portside House.
Lochinver village high street is a 5 minute walk away offering :-
Amenities - food shops, cafes, petrol station, 4 restaurants (varying prices), a great pie shop (Lochinver Larder)
Walking & Cycling - Access to a variety of routes, covering all abilities, nearest mountains Suilven and Canisp
The NC500 - goes by the village. There is also access to smaller road routes ideal for smaller cars, cycling & motorbikes with amazing views to take in.
Watersports - Paddleboard equipment hire & tuition available from Loch Land & Sea based at Portside, please ask for more information. Kayak and canoe hire available nearby.
Beaches - Achmelvich & Clactoll beaches are a short drive away and there are numerous swimming places in many lochs and locherns nearby.
Fishing - fishing tickets to various lochs and rivers can be bought in the village.
