Very spacious and well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent with prompt helpful responses to any queries. We all loved the pool and hot tub. In addition the views from the terrace over the lake towards the hills are stunning.

Loved the Villa, pool and hot tub. Could’ve stayed for a long time! Welcome was great and the house was stocked with every we needed and more! Want to go back..

Lovely

Once again a wonderful stay with fabulous views, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable house. We love the fact the house is quiet but not too far from the coast and easy then for supermarkets too. We’ve booked again.

Third time and hopefully not the last.

A group of 4 adults, this was our third time staying at Casa Alex. Communication for the booking was great. The villa and views are as amazing as ever, especially as The Lake was as full as we have seen it in a very long time. We ticked The Alhambra (Granada) and a tour of the Malaga Bullring off of our bucket list. Many thanks to Colin for always being there when needed and for being very responsive. We are hoping to be again in 2026.

Stunning views

Not our first stay & certainly won’t be our last. Amanda was super helpful from booking onward. Colin & Karen met us & the villa was immaculate. The villa is lovely and comfortable both in and out. All equipment you need plus the beautiful pool, the pool shower & outside pergoda and seating. The views are incredible

From the moment we walked in and saw the view we knew we were going to have a wonderful holiday. We have stayed in the area and close by many times and this villa is up there with the best. Location : 5/5Villa cleanliness : 5/5Welcome by hosts : 5/5View : 10/5Small touches making a holiday easier : 10/5Not only did we have a wonderful relaxing holiday but our daughter got engaged on the terrace making this holiday one to remember. We did have one issue during our stay which we informed the hosts about and they referred back to the villa owner Amanda and we are yet to hear an update but other than that we would be very happy to return to Casa Alex.

Fantastic Villa

We have just got back from our say at Casa Alex and what a wonderful few days we had. It was easy to find and just a short drive from Malaga Airport. The photos really don't do the villa justice. It was very clean and tidy with everything you needed for a home away from home. The views from the pool side are surreal. We would definitely recommend this villa and we would most certainly return

A stunning villa with amazing views

The villa is very easy to access and has truly stunning views over lake Vinuela and the surrounding mountains. It is a relatively short drive to the restaurant/bars and supermarkets in the area. The villa is very well presented with everything you could possibly need to a fun and relaxing holiday (Pool, Hot tub, Pool heater, BBQ, good WiFi, international TV channels) and has plenty or areas where you can relax outside away from the sun. We will defiantly be returning.

Perfect!

I dont know how highly to praise the villa, the location, the owner, the property managers and the overall experience. Everything was wonderful. Villa had everything necessary and the pool was fantastic. The views over the lake and mountains were spectacular! Just 25 minutes to Torre del mar with all the amenities you could wish for. A car is essential. Highly recommend.

Great Villa

We were a family of 8 that stayed in Amandas beautiful villa for 2 weeks in October 2024 The Villa is great. It is spacious, has nice interior and lovely outside area. It had everything we were looking for. The view from the tresace is magnificent. The heated pool and the hot tub was an absolute joy especially for the kids. The villa is situated in the mountains so the weather is a little cooler which was nice. Only a 20min drive to the coast and shopping centers The local hosts Colin and Karen were great and helped out when needed All in all I cannot reccommend this Villa enough. If we return to this area Amandas Villa will be on the top of our list

Fantastic location

The villa is in a wonderful position in the hills above Lake Viñuela. The views of the mountains are unforgettable and the villa is very peaceful and relaxing. Despite being away from it all, it is an easy drive on a good road down to the coast where there all the shopping facilities you could want. The bedrooms are spacious and well-furnished and it is a positive that they are all en-suite. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding high quality. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are three comfortable sofas in the lounge area. Outside, there are different seating areas as well as the hot tub and pool which were both beautifully warm. Colin and Karen were lovely managers, very helpful and responsive.

Spectacular Views

Chris and Karen met us at the villa and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a few issues with the electricity but once shown how to reset this all was good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the outside area was a delight with the pool set at a very comfortable heat. You will need a car as there are not any shops within walking distance. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially as we arrived on a day when all the shops were shut for a festival!

Lovely villa with amazing views

We were two couples and this was our second time staying at Casa Alex. The villa and view are just as amazing as two years ago - this time with new owners and new management team. There were a few ‘typically Spanish’ glitches but Amanda and Colin were great - good communication and understanding. They were very responsive and, more importantly, kept us informed. The heated pool is very welcome addition for the shorter, cooler October days - as is the brand new hot tub. Thank you for the welcome pack. We hope to be back again in 2025.

Semana Santa en La Vinuela de Malaga

La villa es espectacular, espaciosa, cómoda y tiene unas vistas increíbles!!! Todo ha sido genial, la atención de Amanda, Karen y Colin, el jardín y la piscina, la limpieza, el cuidado, las camas, los utensilios de cocina, no falta de nada. Definitivamente regresaremos porque lo hemos disfrutado muchísimo. Sólo nos ha fallado el tiempo y eso ha hecho que hayamos podido disfrutar mucho de la casa y del jardín.

Nos ha guardado mucho

La casa está muy bien ubicada y bastante cerca de Málaga. Tiene unas vistas alucinantes. Es muy amplia y con mucho espacio y lo ideal es que cada habitación tiene su propio cuatro de baño. El jardín es muy grande da para hacer muchos juegos si vienes con niños. La barbacoa está genial se puede disfrutar comiendo fuera muy bien. En general, todo perfecto.

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten das große Glück, für ein paar Tage in dieser wunderschönen Ferienvilla wohnen zu dürfen – und es war einfach traumhaft!Von Anfang an war die Kommunikation absolut unkompliziert und angenehm. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt.Die Villa selbst ist ein echtes Juwel – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, top gepflegt und in einer traumhaften Lage. Alles war genauso, wie auf den Bildern – wenn nicht sogar schöner! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten die Zeit in vollen Zügen genießen.Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!

Nous avons découvert une superbe région ! La maison offre de nombreux services pour de magnifiques vacances en famille. Une vie splendide, on pose les valises et on déconnecte directement !
