Free Wifi! Heated swimming pool available. In a beautiful location, an area of almond and olive groves and with magnificent views of the country, mountains and the sea. The villa is located on a quiet road, with a short drive from the road to the house. It is a house with a beautiful swimming pool and lovely terraces, some being shaded to enjoy outdoor dinners. There is also an outdoor summer kitchen. All with fantastic views. The house is well equipped and furnished to an excellent standard. The swimming pool is bigger than normal, 11 m x 4 m.

All our villas are located in a wonderful natural environment and in quiet areas of the village. That is why these houses are ideal for vacations for families and groups who seek these characteristics and appreciate them. Please note, therefore, that the villas are not suitable and are not available for loud parties.


Torre del Mar is the nearest beach and is approximately 30 minutes drive. It has an attractive beach and promenade where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainment for adults and children.
Pedregalejo, 5km west of Malaga city centre, is another popular beach and promenade with many bars and restaurants.
Nerja with its famous caves and stunning views over the Med are approximately 1 hour and the journey on the coast road, before you return upto Comares is beautiful!

The village of Comares, which is 5 minutes, by car, has bars, banks, shops, medical centre and restaurants. There are also more bars and restaurants in the small village of Los Ventorros. Malaga City is one hours drive from the house. You can also visit Granada in 90 minutes. The house is perfect for visiting other parts of Andalucia, like, Cordoba, Seville and Ronda. This area of Southern Spain has the best climate of all of Europe and enjoys excellent temperaturas throughout the year. Come and discover the pretty village of Comares and the life of Andalucia.

Pool heating is available from 01 April to 15 November at an additional cost of 190 euros per week.
Car essential at this villa to make the most of the beautiful area!

1 dog may be admitted but only after consultation and there is an additional cost to pay.

You must pay a refundable deposit of 500 € on arrival, by credit card. You will be refunded within 7 days of departure. This cannot be done on the day of departure as many guests check out on the same day. Please ensure that our office or your caretaker has your bank details in order to return the deposit.
Pet costs: €50 per pet.
Cost of air conditioning: 30 euros per week is in place for your arrival, after that you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature set. Please note that air conditioning is only available in rooms.

For long-term rentals (more than 28 days), you pay €0.35/kw for electricity.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PERSON MAKING THE RESERVATION MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

Endroit idéal pour passer des vacances en famille : beaux volumes des chambres, literie impeccable, terrasses couvertes permettant de prendre tous les repas à l'extérieur, salon extérieur, piscine superbe...et chauffée !! le seul bémol était un manque d'éclairage terrasses et plan de travail de la cuisine. Excellente réactivité en cas de petit pépin...bravo l'équipe !

Superbe location dans un paysage magnifique de montagnes andalouses. Maison tres propre et tres agreable pour nos vacances en famille (14 personnes) 2h30 de seville et 2h de grenade et son alhambra a 40mn de la mer. Concierge disponible. Nous avons passé une semaine du 25/10 au 03/11 et nous avons qd meme profité de la piscine chauffée. Meteo agreable.Parfait

Fint hus med stor pool og smuk udsigt

Feriehuset er virkelig fint - super godt til prisen. Fantastisk beliggenhed med meget smuk udsigt. Dog skal man beregne en del (bjerg) kørsel for at handle, da butikken i Comares er meget lille. Lækkert med 2 køleskabe og ekstra fryser. Poolen er stor og lækker. Vi bestilte opvarmet pool, hvilket vi var glade for i oktober, da vejret var ikke med os og det er i det hele taget en del koldere end ved kysten. Godt med bordtennisbord. Det kunne have været godt med endnu flere aktiviteter i huset - fx et billardbord. Hyggeligt med sofagruppe på terrassen. Vi var 14 personer, hvis vi alle skulle sidde indenfor og spise, var der ikke plads. Men vi var heldige og det passede med dårlig vejr, når vi var på restaurant. Køkken/stue i stueetagen er der hvor man opholder sig, da der er adgang til terrassen - rummet er ikke ret stort. Køkken/stue i underetagen er samme størrelse, men vi brugte det slet ikke. Kun køleskabet til drikkevarer mv. Ovnen virkede ikke, men blev skiftet med det samme. Super god service både under booking og under vores ophold. Rengøringen var også helt i top... Sengene er ret hårde, men måske hvad man kan forvente i Spanien? Comares er virkelig en fin lille by og med flere restauranter, så man ikke skulle køre langt om aftenen for at spise. Huset er væsentligt bedre end i annoncen - så kan anbefale at I får taget bedre billeder af alle faciliteter samt en plantegning. Vi takker for at dejligt ophold og kommer gerne igen...

Right from booking the property to check in & out it was smooth. Isabelle and the staff that look after the villa were very accommodating. As promised the table tennis was available at the property. The property itself is great and had ample space for all 14 of us. The swimming pool is really great to cool down after a really hot day. The kitchen was not greatly equipped but upon request the caretaker provided what we needed. The property is quite high into the mountain and the roads to it are reasonably winding. The track down to the property is at a significant incline, so hiring an automatic car was a good choice for us.

Heerlijk rustig verblijf in de natuur

Het was aangenaam. Groot huis, wijdse uitzicht, beetje afgelegen maar daarom ideaal om van rust te genieten. Bedden waren wat minder voor zo'n lux verblijf, te hard naar onze smaak, maar dat is vaak zo. Voor de rest aangenaam verblijf en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is zwembadverlichting voor 's avond om mogelijkheid voor verwarming zwembad, aanrader in het voorjaar. We hebben lekker gebarbequed. Grote badlakens konden ze voor ons regelen. Behulpzame service.

Perfect Getaway - as long as you have a head for heights!

Very comfortable and secluded. The kitchen was not as well-equipped as we are used to and the track to the property could be nerve-wracking, especially after dark. We loved the area, especially down on the coast. The pool, which we opted not to have heated, was wonderful and the views from Los Poyatos are breathtaking.

Wir haben eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Die Villa bietet einen großzügigen Platz, atemberaubende Aussicht zu den Bergen, einen großen Pool. Die Vermieterin, Hausmeister sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit, Kommunikationsfähig. Es gibt zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend, leckeres Essen, Wanderwege. Es ist empfehlenswert!! Vielen Dank für die tolle Organisation.

Excellent family holiday in the most beautiful location

We stayed at the Villa between the 23rd Oct and 30th October during the COVID pandemic. Well what can we say.... 1) The villa space - There is so much room for the family. We had 8 guests (5 Adults, 2 children and 1 baby). There are 5 large bedrooms so everyone had the space and privacy they needed. 2) Communal areas - There are lots of places to have fun, chill and relax. There are two living rooms with lots of comfortable sofas and dining tables to have family meals. The outdoor terrace has lots of dining furniture to eat outdoors and enjoy the sun whilst drinking and eating. 3) Swimming pool area - We paid for the swimming pool heating the week. This was money well spent. Our children enjoyed the pool from 10am until sunset with not many shivers! There were plenty of sun loungers available and other chairs. 4) The area... I have been on many holidays before but I have never stayed in an area as beautiful. The views are spectacular from the Villa and even more from Comares village. The location is secluded. Don’t expect to be in the hustle and bustle. Just expect peace and tranquility with a beautiful village within a 5 minute drive and a beach 35 minutes away at Torre Del Mar. The village has some nice little restaurants with fantastic food and a typical Spanish ambience. 5) Management - Communication pre holiday was excellent especially with the uncertainty around COVID. During the holiday we had a minor issue with the shower heating which was sorted within 2 hours. 6) Value for money - This was a fantastic price for such a beautiful place. As a family with children that normally holiday in hotels the price was a major factor in booking. The facilities of the villa, the service provided and the location justify a rating of 5. Would we stay again? Yes we would. The only thing we would like to see different is some board games etc for the family in the communal areas. This would be good for night time fun when there isn’t a lot going on. That is being fairly picky though! Overall a super holiday and highly recommended Thank you

40th wedding celebration family holiday

We had an excellent time at the Villa Poyatas. The location was quiet and quite beautiful and the large pool was particularly enjoyed by the grandchildren.

Roomy holiday home with a lovely pool

We enjoyed our stay and made the most of the large and well-maintained swimming pool. The house was spacious and generally comfortable and well-equipped. There are lovely views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Comares is a pretty village although shopping facilities there are limited. Jose, the caretaker, was helpful and efficient. We made the most of the BBQ and eating outdoors. On the negative side, the pool was not safely fenced and we did not feel the site was totally child-friendly, Although the drive down to the villa was short, it was poorly maintained and badly rutted. Some of the equipment in the house was a bit dated and in need of replacement. Overall however, we did enjoy our stay.

Je suis venu avec mon mari et mes 7 enfant nous nous sention comme chez nous .le gardien très gentil et a lecoute de chaque question disponible dans l'heure qui suit. Vraiment ont avait pas envie de partir on été trop bien les chambre trop bien les terrasses au top la piscine rien a dire le top aussi juste fallai surveiller les enfant pour eviter un accident mais très bien . Merci beaucoup pour ce superbe séjour le seul hic cest l'accée de la maison pour y acceder et pas evidente du tout mais on si et fait quand même nous reviendrons sa cest sûr.

Fantastisk hus i de spanske bjerge!

Vi var 17 personer (inkl. små børn) samlet i huset pga. en fødselsdag. Det var helt perfekt til formålet, og vi nød opholdet til fulde. Det er dejligt rumligt, selvom vi var mange mennesker. Vejret var heldigvis på vores side, hvilket gjorde at vi kunne nyde den skønne terrasse og udendørs pool. Huset var rengjort ved ankomst, og vores husvært kom forbi og gav nogle få informationer - og optænding til de fuldautomatiserede brændeovne. Det er en hel fantastisk beliggenhed men den flotteste udsigt. Den nærliggende bjerglandsby, Comares, er skøn og meget pittoresk. Det er nemt at komme til huset fra Malaga lufthavn, og der er plads til 6-8 biler på parkeringspladsen. Det er god valuta for pengene. Vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage igen!

Heerlijke familie vakantie in Comares

We hadden met onze familie (11 pers.) een heerlijke herfstvakantie in een mooie vakantiewoning in Comares. Onze villa was gerieflijk met veel ruimte en een fijn zwembad, dat we hadden laten verwarmen. Enige minpuntje was de kwaliteit van het (behoorlijk verouderde) meubilair in de woonkamer en de slaapkamers. We hebben er niet minder plezier door gehad.

Fantastic house in quiet location

We were 17 persons staying in this house in September. The accomodation is nice and spacious, it did not fel crowded. The pool area is great, we added heating of the pool which was good, the water was warm and the kids were swimming all the time. The views over the mountains are amazing The house is well equipped for cooking, there is a large barbecue, but also some nice restaurants in Comares if you prefer eating out (we did a bit of both). You probably need to have a car to stay here because the house is quite remote, but if you just want to go to Comares for dinner you can easily take a taxi. If you want to stay in a quiet place and you need a large house with a fantastic pool area, I would absolutely recommend this house!

DES VACANCES INOUBLIABLES EN FAMILLE

Des vacances inoubliables en famille!!! L'endroit est magnifique, une vue terrible des montagnes . La villa conforme aux descriptifs, très spacieuse et propre avec plusieurs ventilateurs ce qui est vraiment un plus en plein été !! Mais le petit plus qui fait la différence c' est la piscine géniiiiiiaaalll. Notre gardien très sympa et dispo !!! Les échanges d'infos avec le propriétaire facile!! Peut-etre un petit point négatif, l'accès à la villa est un peu difficile ( chemin de terre en mauvais état). Bref de superbes vacances. MERCI !!!

Rain stopped play but a good place to be holed up in!

We had an enjoyable stay despite days of cold, windy and wet weather. This did not stop us using the swimming pool albeit for short periods. The views were magnificent and there was plenty of space for the family and we made full use of the fire. Our caretaker was very helpful and arranged for extra wood pellets and blankets within an hour of our request. We would love to return in better weather. Only negative was the oven /grill was faulty and for catering for families more small bowls, plates etc would be handy. We did manage one BQ which is obviously the way to cook when weather permits. Comares is a beautiful place and the people friendly and helpful. The whole family enjoyed walking up to the village from the villa. The sea and Granada are all in easy reach. Great place.
