Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The Loft is reached by three small sets of steps giving it an almost elevated position, overlooking colourful and mature trees, shrubs and plants, including a stunning camelia. You enter via a superb and welcoming conservatory which doubles up as the dining area and is full of characterful features. From here the kitchen is very well equipped, providing all you need to prepare light to hearty meals! The lounge boasts twin leather sofas (so one each!) and has a wall mounted TV and curved pebble effect fire. Light, bright and incredibly airy thanks to the angled windows, this is a great space to simply unwind after a day’s adventures. The bathroom has a powerful shower and oozes quality, whilst the large bedroom with king-size bed is a real sanctuary where a peaceful night’s sleep is all but guaranteed. There is a private garden where morning coffee or a little alfresco dining can be enjoyed, whilst the larger grounds can be explored.
If you can bring yourself to venture away from this serene place the surrounding countryside and coastline is a joy to behold. The unspoilt beach at Mothecombe is well worth a visit, with golden sand and sheltered coves with rockpools for all ages to enjoy. The village of Newton Ferrers sits on the banks of the Yealm Estuary, boasting both fabulous views and pretty cottages. As you wind your way along the coast, through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many beaches and villages here, all perfect for walking and exploring and immersing yourself within its glory. Inland, famous Dartmoor with its million shades of green, rolling hills and spectacular vistas is a delight whilst to the west lies Plymouth, the historical naval city with its marinas, attractions, plethora of restaurants and shops. Once back after a day of adventures, relax with a favourite beverage with wildlife and nature all around you, kick back and savour this very special haven.

An excellent place to stay.
An excellent place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome, and The Loft felt very homely and comfortable and full of thoughtful, quality touches. Top notch fixtures and fittings. We should have booked a longer stay.There is loads to do in the area.
