Amazing stay!

Everything was so well appointed and the extra touches with the coffee, breakfast and wine were a very nice surprise. The location was perfect, the hosts were perfect, I can’t say enough about how special they made our stay.

Great villa, beautiful view and quiet location

The villa was beautiful and looked just as good, if not better than the photos. The only negative thing I could think of is it’s in the middle of a large cliff - great for views, not so great for walking places as you have to endure steep declines and inclines. Overall, could not have asked for a better place to stay with a larger group.

A memorable home

El Verano Hideaway is a must stay place if you are looking for a home in Santorini. Sokratis responded promptly to all my questions before our arrival and stay. His sister welcomed us with a Greek drink and homemade cookies before giving us a tour of the property and helpful local information. We were treated to daily housekeeping, a refrigerator that would be restocked daily full of breakfast items, meat, cheese, juices and milk. Sokratis’s mother makes the cookies and desserts dropped off by the cleaners which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house is private and spotless while being located in a quiet neighborhood with street parking available. The location of the villa is one of it’s best features. We enjoyed the covered patio for a breakfast area in the morning and the other side of the house for our evening views of the island. The property and pool are well maintained. Santorini is well known for the sunsets but the sunrises and moonrises are just as spectacular from your own deck (with no crowds). At night the city lights shine below you and you can watch the planes land and takeoff in the distance. This villa and Sokratis are well known by the localswith both having great reputations. Everyone in our group left Santorini happy and would rebook El Verano if we return to the island. Thank you Sokratis for a fantastic memory.
