Hi Jonathan, Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review. If you wish to return to the property please do get in touch directly where we can offer a discount on a future stay. Kind Regards, Short Stay St Andrews
We had a lovely 2 night stay here- place was spotless and all amenities catered for. Lovely quiet area and we walked in and out to St Andrews centre.
Only criticism would be the main bedroom only has a patio door for ventilation which can’t be left open all night. There were no other options to open a window. This room has the boiler and the water heater so we found the room was far too warm during the night.
Apt had everything you need. 3 full baths a plus. Only downside was there should be portable fans for the bedrooms. Got very warm at night. You could leave the patio door open but there are no screens. Also door stoppers as the doors do not stay open on their own. Other than that I would stay again.
Not clean - second en-suite bath had urine on floor, sides of toilet. Third bedroom had not been swept (pacifier from prior guest on floor betweem side table and closet).Cheap furnishings - two kitchen drawers were not properly mounted on tracks (we fixed them). Also second ensuite shower wand not properly attached and fell off during use.Limited hot water and low pressure - followed host directions to fix water and still luke warm water and low water pressure.Doors within unit all close and so difficult to maintain temperature throughout (we had to prop open doors and open the windows on the front and back side of the unit to get it to cool down at night for sleeping).

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
We didn’t get the code for keys before hand so had to call the office number to get in. That was a little frustrating. Could use some fans to keep air circulation but good size for 4 people, clean and full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry.
This was a great place for 3 couples to stay. Each couple had a king-size bed and their own bathroom. The place is well insulated and we were surprised at how quiet it was. We were there during a heat wave but it cooled off enough at night by tipping the windows out. (The windows can be opened 2 different ways.)There is a walking trail near the property that goes straight into St. Andrews (about a 15-20 minute walk). Parking at the property is very convenient. There are clear directions in the house manual that tell how to turn the hot water on. It took us a while to figure out that you have to twist the shower knob around *twice* (by pushing on the little button) to actually allow that hot water to come out. One member of our party discovered that on the second to last day of our trip. Hopefully this will help future visitors know how to get the hot water in the shower!
