Spacious modern villa - fabulous sea views, free WIFI, beach & golf

We agree with you that it's much better to rent a car during the holiday, especially in summer. It's too hot to walk to the bus stops... Thanks for your kind review. We are glad that you liked our house and had a wonderful holiday at our house. We always suggest our guests to rent a car for much easier mobility. About 600 meters from our house there is the Bus 3 stop, every 10 minutes, but walking 600 meters in the sun is too hot! Another convenient way that some guests use is a taxi, which costs about 7 euros/way to get to the commercial area, where there are all the bars, shops, shopping centers, supermarkets, etc.

Hello Vijay, we were so happy that you had a wonderful holiday at our house in Spain! We are always very happy when we know that our guests enjoy our house because we love that house, we love Spain! The whole atmosphere there is so relaxing and "holiday"...:-) In terms of transport, my wife doesn't drive when she is alone during the week in Spain in winter. She takes taxi at 7-15 euros/way to everywhere from our house, including Carrefour, shopping center, beaches and Benidorm, etc. Bus 3 stops less than 500m from our house, in the mid-way between our house and Carrefour. Bus 3 goes along the whole coast, starting from Carrefour to Finestrat beach and then to Benidorm beaches & Benidorm centre, etc.. It is every 10-15 minutes each. However, we always suggest that our guests rent a car because they can go to visit many interesting places and different nice beaches around our house, all short drive by car. There is a binder in the living room which has some photos to present different nice beaches and picturesque villages to our guests. Thank you again for your nice review and hope to see you soon!

Thank you for your kind review. We were so happy to know that you enjoyed your holidays in our house in Spain and want to recommend our house to other guests. In terms of transportation, we always suggest that our guests rent a car for easier mobility, especially there are so many beautiful places and beaches to visit, all within a 30-minute drive. However, it can actually be done without a car. My wife, who does not have driving papers, stays home alone in the winter and I join her every weekend. She walks down to the shopping center and supermarkets Carrefour and Lidl, etc. for about 15-20 minutes, and returns home by taxi at a price of 6 to 7 euros: it is more convenient to go up by car :-), especially carrying what she buys . In the other review that follows yours, guests did not rent a car, but used public transportation. In fact, Bus No. 3 is only halfway to the shopping center and Carrefour, but is much less frequent in winter than in summer. That's why my wife takes a taxi to go back home. Hi Michael, Thank you very much for your detailed review. It is valuable for us to increase our experience and satisfy more our guests. It was the first time that guests commented that there was not enough shade and too much sunlight... In fact, the house is located in the center of the garden, so there is always one side in the shade. One of the previous reviews said it exactly "...can always find the shade area around the house". We can also provide a parasol on request. I thought it rained a lot in May and June so you didn't need it as you didn't ask for a parasol. Europeans especially Belgians, Dutch, Brits and Nordics go to Spain especially for the sun ! They never complained about too much sun :-) The lounge in the living room, the moment we bought it, we thought more about the harmony of the interior decoration. We plan to buy a new lounge after this season, we will think more about how the guests feel in it, but we can't guarantee that every guest will feel the same in the same lounge because the guests are different, every individual comfort levels are very different. We have 36 reviews and nearly all of them mentioned "comfortable villa", "comfortable stay", but you didn't feel the same. We understand and respect the feelings of every guest, and try our best to satisfy every guest. The frosted glass sliding door with a strong sense of design in the bathroom lacks privacy, we take this complain very serious. Likewise, we understand that people have varying degrees of perception about "privacy". We decided to install a rolling curtain on the ceiling so that guests who need more privacy can pull the curtain down to the floor so the frosted glass door is completely covered...the ceiling rolling curtain would be discreet so that the design style can be preserved... The previous owner of the house was an interior decoration specialist who is now very active in the interior decoration of hotels and residential houses in the North Costa Blanca area. So we do want to keep all the good things she left to us, but also try to keep all of our guests happy. In fact, it's one of the reasons our house has been pre-selected by North Costa Blanca holiday home magazines or TV shows twice. However, there are a few points on which we would like to comment. 1) As for the location, the villa is really in one of the best locations in the area: You are in a quiet area, but you have everything you need in less than 3 minutes by car, shops and restaurants, such as the largest shopping center in the region and a Hyper Carrefour, etc., and you are on the beach in less than 5 minutes by car. 1 km of walking, especially if uphill, seems far, but 1 km by car is really on your doorstep. Plus, you won't be able to find such a villa in the city center, right? In fact, the bus stop for line 3 is halfway to Carrefour, a 5-10 minute walk from the villa. Bus n ° 3 goes to Benidorm and runs along the coast, every 10-15 minutes / each in high season. As you can read in the review of other guests, it is absolutely possible to spend a holiday in our villa without hiring cars, especially for people who like to walk. 2) Regarding the cups, we find this remark strange because there are a lot of cups for coffee or tea, more than enough to invite all the neighbours if you wish (please see the photo of our advertisement). In the kitchen, there are 3 preparation boards and many supports to put hot pots and pans. It’s a fully-equipped kitchen. This is why a review on our villa was entitled "The perfect home away from home!" --- Please check this review. 3) As for the towels, this is clearly explained in our advertisement that 2 bath towels / person, 1 large, 1 medium. No beach towels. Change is possible on request, but there is also a washing machine. 4) For the air conditioner, we did a check and they all work fine. No one other than you has made this comment since 2013. Could it be that you left the windows open while using the air conditioner? Of course, this should be avoided. We are very generous, no extra electricity charge in summer. Thank you again, Andrew, we hope to see you and your family again in the summer of 2020 as we will add big mugs, large trays for serving food and containers for storing things in the fridge for the 2020 season, as you prefer.:-)

Thank you for your kind and very informative review. We were so happy to know that you enjoyed your holiday so much in our house in Spain. In our opinion, September is the best month of holiday in Spain, not too hot, not too crowded, but always sunny and warm. You were very active and visited almost everywhere! And you arranged your transport so well. Actually, the nearest bus stop of Bus no° 3 is only located in the midway to Carrefour: when get down the street, at the first roundabout, turn your left, the bus stop is just on the corner of that street. Surely, the starting point and the terminus of Bus n° 2 and Bus n°3 are both located one roundabout farther, beside Carrefour. Zoe, Teresa and Mark, take care and see you next time! Philippe & Hui
