Mountain Thunder Lodge is a luxurious and elegant retreat ideally located among the pines and aspens of Breckenridge, only 200 yards from the gondola and 2 blocks from Main St. Alternately use the At Your Service shuttle provided by Mountain Thunder to any location in Breck, including direct access to the base areas. This 2nd story townhouse is uniquely located within Mtn Thunder as it backs directly onto Gondola Ski-Back Ski run and is the closest 2 BR townhome to the access path. Only a few units back onto the ski run / trails and this is one of them! (others back onto the complex buildings, a roadway or other adjacent condo properties). You are literally a few feet to skiing and hiking from your front door! Ski/walk to the gondola or downtown and ski right back to your home!

This exquisite townhouse is a large second story unit (ground entry with interior stairwell) featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Being an upper unit means there is no one above you and thus affords you the quiet you want on your vacation. The spacious 1400 sq ft floor plan with soaring vaulted ceilings make it one of the most spacious 2 BR units in Breck. The unit has been recently updated with wood tile flooring, new carpet in the bedrooms and all new paint throughout. The high end furnishings complement this luxury property. The Master Suite features a king bed, office desk and chair, an ensuite that has double sinks, and a tub with a separate shower. The 2nd bedroom features a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a double bed on top. This bedroom has direct access to the 2nd bathroom which comes with a full tub and shower combo. Finally a queen sleeper sofa allows for up to 8 people in the unit.

Many additional amenities are included … there are 4 large flat screen TVs in the townhouse with a BluRay DVD player in the 2nd bedroom and living room. A washer and dryer is located in the unit so there is no need to overpack!. Thoughtful extras include a pack’n play for infants/toddlers, high chair, fans, humidifiers (for our southern guests!), iron and board, hair dryer and extra blankets.

The unit has an attached private heated garage big enough for a full-size SUV with ski racks and boot dryers. The private driveway accommodates a second vehicle and additional vehicles can be parked on property in designated locations (note that if there are more than 3 vehicles an additional parking fee may be required by the property). However... it is unlikely you will need your vehicle as everything is within walking distance including downtown and gondola and grocery store. For further distances or when you simply don’t want to walk you simply call the included “At Your Service” door to door van service! This service will pick you up right at your front door and drive you to anywhere in Breck including all the base areas! No need to wait at bus stops!

Your stay includes access to amenities including an onsite fitness facility, outdoor heated pool (open year round), and multiple hot tubs on property. Wireless internet and cable service is included. In addition you have have access to all the amenities at One Ski Hill at the base of Peak 8 which includes an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, private media room. and additional fitness facility!

Breckenridge is a world class destination resort. Mountain Thunder is a premium luxury property in Breck. And this large townhome is perfectly located and appointed to make your stay unforgettable!

There are very resort towns that offer a 'real town' (Breck was a town before skiing ever existed) with world class ski and summer resort activities! This townhouse is perfectly located - right on the ski run and only a short walk to the gondola and downtown. The home and the property have everything you would want for an unforgettable vacation!

What makes this townhome unique

We chose this property because of its unique and perfect location within the Mountain Thunder resort... it is one of the few townhomes that does not back onto adjacent properties, buildings or roadways... this unit backs directly onto the ski run / hiking trail! It is also super quiet as it is a large upper unit.

6 stars if possible! Great for families! Beautiful, CLEAN, convenient condo

New to Breck and unsure of where to stay? This is the perfect spot! The owners have gone out of their way to make this an amazing vacation property! The unit is extremely clean and comfortable without that “lived in” feel and it is very quiet and just steps away from a hot tub and a pool. Downtown access or Breck gondola access is easy either via a pedestrian tunnel or crossing the street. If you don’t want to walk there is a shuttle. We didn’t take one but the driver said to just call them and arrange a pickup. There are numerous shuttle stops downtown as well. After a long day outside, the kids will enjoy the TVs in every room including a new 4K tv and soundbar in the living room. The WiFi is excellent. The kitchen is perfect and is well-stocked. A washer and dryer in the condo is also very useful! If you like the pictures, it’s even more beautiful in person. Also, the owners are the most responsive we’ve ever encountered. Bottom line, if your dates aren’t available, consider changing your dates :)

Beautiful townhome!

This townhome was perfect for the two of us and also has plenty of room for a larger family. The decor and furnishings were lovely and the space felt very private. Being in walking distance to restaurants and shops was a big plus. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place in Breckenridge that has it all

You can't often find a place that is this nice, well located (both to mountain and town) and has a great heated outdoor pool. This is one of those place that makes you think about finding a way to buy right next door.

Beautifully furnished townhome in great location

Visited in July for a last-minute weekly getaway and this was perfect for our two young kids. Townhome is very well furnished but comfortable and everything is in perfect condition. The location is ideal, within walking distance (literally one block) from Main Street and BreckConnect access to peak activities. Back porch offers private sitting area to enjoy a wooded rear lot which allows opening windows to enjoy the cool evenings with no noise pollution. The owners were wonderfully responsive and did a great job communicating. We had no problems but felt comfortable that the caring owners would have been right on top of any issues. Perfect house in a perfect location - we will definitely be back!
