Dale House is a great property with all the facilities you need. Its clean and comfortable and a great venue for family and friends. Fab games room. We had a lovely stay in Feb 25 and made use of the open fire which made it feel very cosy. There are 3 pubs within walking distance (literally a few mins). We ate at the Blue Bell Inn and the food was delicious! (Would advise to book a table)We also did a lovely walk from the property, The Kettlewell circular and at the halfway point we ate at the Fox and Hound in Starbotton. If you are too tired to walk back there is a bus service to Kettlewell (no 79)There is a local store in Kettlewell which sells basic necessities (and a lot of craft supplies) but if you need more food/alcoholic supplies and more wood/kindling, there is a Spar in Threshfield. We would highly recommend this property as its situated in the perfect position for a lovely break away in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales! Nb. You can take up to 2 dogs (pets) as long as they are house trained.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Evans
Born & raised in Yorkshire, my family and I fell in love with The Yorkshire Dales and the quaint picturesque village of kettlewell. We knew this area would be perfect for a large holiday home, so we bought Dale House for our extended family and other guests to enjoy. My husband and I have 2 young kiddies and love to bring them here to play in the river, catch fish and run around the surrounding green spaces.
Why they chose this property
The property is large and has it's former Victorian hotel feel. Being located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales was important to us.
What makes this property unique
Dale House is in the perfect location for all types and ages of guests. Local amenities, river and hill walks are right from the doorstep. Many bathrooms is always nice when a large group is staying together.
