Bright and cozy house with garden in a building with swimming pool and private access to the beach, in Aci Castello.



Casa Magnolia spreads on two levels and enjoys a beautiful outdoor area with a dining area and a relaxation area with sofas and armchairs where guests can sit and enjoy the sunny days. Some stairs lead to the living area, located on the first floor, decorated with a sofa, armchairs, a television, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and coffee machine. Upstairs is the sleeping area, consisting of a bedroom with a French bed, one with a queen-size bed and en suite bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with two single beds, one of which can be pulled out. Two additional bathrooms with showers complete the layout.



The house is inside a condominium with a shared pool and access to the private beach with an equipped platform.



*The shared swimming pool is open from the 15th of June to the 30th of September. A swimming cap could be required.



*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.



Aci Castello and its neighbor Aci Trezza, are two gems of the eastern coast of Sicily. The volcanic activity of the area and specifically of the Etna, have defined the conformation of the territory making it rich in naturalistic beauties, including the marine protected area of the Cyclops Islands, where it is possible to go diving and admire the wonderful marine flora and fauna which live in this area. Not to be missed is a visit to the Norman Castle of Aci Castello, which stands on a basalt cliff, with an extremely rare rocky composition, formed after a marine eruption over 500,000 years ago.

The town is located a few kilometers from Catania, famous for its historic center recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Its architectural wonders, but also the liveliness of the popular markets, the wild beauty of Etna and the crystal-clear water of the coast will seduce even the most demanding guests.



Catania Fontanarossa airport is easily reachable with a 30 minute-drive.

Casa Magnolia accommodation has much to offer-if only the hosts cared enough to maintain the property well and respond to their guests requests. The four seperate beds required by our party were not provided with our repeated written requests falling on deaf ears. Adequate bathrooms and kitchen facilities together with pleasant outdoor dining was appreciated, however repeated requests for extra access keys/codes to the locked and gated compound were not granted requiring all 4 adults to travel from the accommodation at all times together. Aci Castello is a lovely seaside village with good restaurants and shopping. Watch where you park your car, ours was seriously damaged overnight. Maintenance of dishwasher, washing machine, and down stairs toilet is required.

Casa Magnolia is a beautiful property within a gated community, which made it feel more like "home." But the shared pool and easy access to the sea were the highlights for us. We were able to snorkel right off the platform and see incredible creatures including eels, starfish, urchins and many different fish. The property was close to shops and restaurants, and not far from the Catania airport, which was very convenient. It just lacked a few personal touches, such as beach towels, which would have made it perfect.

The property has all the appliances needed, unfortunately all are dated. The kitchen requires a refit, new beds, air conditioning units etc.There are three bedrooms but the third one is tiny and only enough for one child. The pull out bed is not suitable for a person.The parking is challenging as there are more cars than spaces. The posi positives include access to the pool and the sea. It is also a walking distance to Aci Castillo where there are plenty of shops and restaurants.Wonderful Italy need to do more to make check in easier especially for international customers who are not familiar to the area or the language.

Certes le logement est au calme et bien placé.Mais il était sale, vétuste (l’âge de la construction n’empêche pas l’entretien du mobilier), et la troisième chambre très petite ne permet pas (sauf déménagement) de le déplier le lit inconfortable pour avoir 2 places en accédant à la fenêtre et en fermant la porte.Le conciergerie n’est ni disponible (retard d’une heure et demi pour la remise des clés), ni joignable (pas de clé pour sortir sur la terrasse, nombreux appels infructueux durant 3 jours). Bref, compte-tenu du prix on peut s’attendre à des prestations au moins correctes, ce qui n’est pas le cas. À éviter.

Wonderful house and sorroundings!

The house was perfect for our large family! Nice bedrooms, good with three toilets and great to have a Livingroom. We loved to sit outside in the shadows with a lot of beautiful flowers around. The waterfront area was so good and snorkeling just amazing. The pool was also great but was closed for our last days because of ash from Etna. We had a rental car and it was great to park just outside the house. We really want to come back!
