We've just made our beautiful home available for holiday rentals.

Youll feel cosseted from the moment you arrive at this beautiful cottage - each room has been thoughtfully furnished.
The sitting room/Dining area has three sofas providing plenty of comfy seating. Satellite with Smart TV. Fast speed WIFI. Gas wood burner effect in brick fireplace
The adjoining well equipped kitchen is bursting with good kit, including a Nespresso coffee machine, food mixer, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Elegant glassware, plates, cutlery and an extensive supply of cooking utensils and equipment to make cooking for eating in a pleasure, after fun days out exploring the local area. Thats if you dont feel like going out and sampling one of the many superb eating options in the town or adjacent villages
The main bedroom has a luxury Savoir King size bed and ensuite shower room/toilet
The second bedroom has two three foot comfortable beds
Both bedrooms have luxury bedlinen.
There is a bathroom/toilet in the main landing area
Outside there is a small courtyard to enjoy morning coffee/pre dinner drinks!

"Home from Home"The cottage felt very homely and had everything we needed including very comfortable beds! It is conveniently situated near the town centre and beach, also good for exploring the beautiful area. There are a variety of churches in the town and we found St Leonards C/E was very accessible and friendly. Our arrival was a little complicated as the owner's mobile was out of order and we could only communicate via email, but there was always a quick response.We were able to park our car in the designated bays opposite every evening and very much enjoyed our stay.

Wunderschönes Gannet Cottage

Wir verbrachten unvergessliche Tage in Seaford und im wunderschönen Cottage von Celia und Brian. Das Cottage liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt, ist super sauber und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, top ausgestattet und liebevoll dekoriert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Celia ist eine sehr nette, freundliche, stets erreichbare und sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Nochmals herzlichsten Dank für alles. Wir würden uns freuen, wieder in ihrem wundervollen Gannett Cottage zu sein.

Great place near the town

Overall was great. The temperature in this place was way too hot. We asked several times to turn down heat as it is controlled by the manager. Still seated every night and kept all windows open.

Fab cottage in lovely Seaford

It was just what we needed a home away from home. The cottage was fully equipped with great location. We could walk to the beach, shops, station. We were very relaxed and everything was in good working order. The kids enjoyed their stay. The house was in great cleaning order.

Wunderschönes Häuschen nah am Strand und Stadtzentrum

Wir haben unsere Tage im Gannet Cottage genossen. Das Häuschen ist nur wenige Schritte vom Zentrum mit Cafés, Restaurants (Empfehlung: ind. Restaurant Spice Village gleich um die Ecke) und Geschäften und 3 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll und man hat alles was man braucht. Von Seaford, ein liebenswürdiges kleines Städtchen, kann man zu Fuß auf die Steilküste wandern und ist mit dem Zug in gut 30 min in Brighton oder in 1,5h in London. Klare Empfehlung, vielen Dank!

Wonderful

What a fabulous stay we have just had. The Cottage was easy to find, and plenty of parking close by. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. We had everything we could have possibly needed. Location was perfect for us. A short train ride to Brighton, and lovely relaxing coastal walks from our front door. Lots of pubs restaurants, takeaways and cafes very close by and a Morrisons, Tescos and Co op within a short walk. :)

Beautiful Cottage

When we arrived the entrance front door and window were very dirty I was thinking what have I done . Access to the cottage was simple and once inside I was amazed firstly at the size of the cottage , much bigger than I thought , secondly at the beautiful furnishings and decor . It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped , there was nothing that hadn't been thought of .I had one slight issue with the Internet , contacted the owner who dealt with it quickly and efficiently . The cottage is well situated for shops quite a few very good restaurants and pubs we had some lovely meals . It's a two minute walk to the sea front , we were lucky to have good weather so a stroll along the front was pleasant . We definitely will return hopefully later in the year .

Comfortable stay

Had a lovely stay at the cottage - the pictures don’t do it justice- it’s really cosy but spacious at the same time. Well stock kitchen with everything you need including washing products and spices, oils etc. Beds very comfortable and lots of nice lighting Lots of nice artwork around the cottage which added to the ambiance, good WiFi too. Great location for the seven sister bs lots of eatery’s and supermarkets nearby. If I had to say one negative, it would be quite noisy fromRoad outside but that’s urban living and ear plugs helped. Would book again

Excellent place to stay in Seaford

Great communication with Celia from the start. She was really quick at replying to any questions. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and just perfect for our needs. It contained everything we needed for a most comfortable and relaxing stay. She had thought of everything. We had a small issue with the heating but the whole thing was resolved in next to no time. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cosy home for a long weekend

Very attractive and cosy cottage in centre of Seaford, beautifully furnished and well stocked with sets of glasses, cutlery and crockery. Nice to find kitchen essentials of tea, coffee, sugar as well as herbs, spices, oil and vinegar. Bathrooms equipped with soap, shampoo as well as cleaning agents. Kitchen drawers also had spare lightbulbs, scissors etc, so pleasing to find these essential extras rather than sterile empty cupboards. We are delighted to have found this excellent property and hope to return next year.

Alles perfekt!

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Seaford, machten auch Trips nach Brighton und London, wofür wir den Zug benutzten, denn der Bahnhof ist in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Cottage war wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts.

A super cottage

A lovely cottage in the centre of Seaford. Although no official parking it was easy to get a space very near the property. Well equipped and warm. Brighton,Lewis and Eastbourne all easily reached. Nice walks on cliffs or seafront.

Very cosy and nice cottage.

The cottage was very nice, clean, cosy and well equipped. It was very centrally located in Seaford and you could easily find it based on the description. The communication with the owner was very good and friendly. The location is perfect to explore Seven Sisters, Beachy Head, Brighton and Eastbourne. Only on Saturday evenings it is difficult to find a parking space near the cottage.

Hello from Brian and Celia, We now live in France where we successfully rented our beautiful normandy cottage for holiday rentals for 5+ years. Last year we bought a lovely cottage in Seaford, which we stay in when we are over, but are making available for holiday rentals when we are not there. Therefore it is furnished with all the comforts of a home from home

We chose Seaford, due to its accessibility to the Newhaven port, but also its brilliant transport links by train and bus around the local area and to London. We enjoy being in the centre of a busy village with lots of independent and chain shops with a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. We love being a short walk from the beach, with fabulous walks across the downs and a short drive from many picturesque villages
