Located in a tranquil setting below Estreito da Calheta, the premium air conditioned Calheta Pearl is a contemporary, spacious 3 bedroom villa with breath-takingly beautiful views over the coast and sea.
The floor to ceiling picture windows of the large open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen slide open to create an indoor/outdoor area with the enormous front terrace and pool deck with its superb infinity-style pool – perfect to lazy around or appreciate those beautiful evening sunsets.
All the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and are air conditioned.
Within a short walk there is a mini-market and café; a pharmacy and large supermarket are only just over 1 Km away, and a 5 minute drive takes you to the resort of Calheta.

Property Description
The whole living area, bedrooms, terrace, and pool deck is set over two floors and features integrated air-conditioning throughout. The long open-plan living area sitting and dining areas set to benefit the most from the outstanding views. At one end is the stunning contemporary and fully equipped kitchen. At the other end the flat screen cable tv in leaving room that lead to the stairs in lower ground floor where bedrooms are.
Large floor to ceiling picture windows not only allow you to appreciate those views day and night, but open wide to create an indoor/outdoor area with the pool terrace and deck, the outdoor dining table next to the built-in barbecue, and the sun-beds and umbrellas around the pool deck.
The rectangular infinity-style swimming pool features a large shallow tanning/relaxing ledge and breath-taking views over the coast and sea.
The three bedrooms feature king-size beds and en-suite shower rooms and are air conditioned.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required on arrival, payable in cash.
The minimum stay is 07 nights.

Booking Notes
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.

When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol.
The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol.
At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel.
At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km.
At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).
At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km.
Reaching the next roundabout, take the first exit following signs to Est. da Calheta.

Drive on this road for 850m and you will reach Restaurant Bago, turn right here and you will enter Rua de Belém.


 
After entering Rua de Belém, keep driving forward until you pass the first junction and then turn onto your first right and you will find Calheta Pearl in the end of the road.

Wundervolles Haus mit tollem Blick

Das Haus ist absolut neu und hat uns begeistert! Sehr hochwertig und stylisch eingerichtet, top sauber und gepflegt. Alles ist da, ein tolle Küche mit großem Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelbereiter, Microwelle, BBQ, Billardtisch, PlayStation über Beamer, Klimaanlage. Uns fehlte wirklich gar nichts. Die Terrasse ist riesig und super schön, man hat einen unglaublich schönen Blick auf den Atlantik und seitlich in das Tal und zu den Bergen rauf. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig. Wir haben viele Abende den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Der Pool ist ebenso herrlich und war Anfang Oktober auch ohne Heizung ausreichend warm. Beim schwimmen kann man ebenso auf das Meer hinaus schauen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Ein späterer Checkout war z.B. kein Problem. Danke an Patricia, wir kommen gern wieder. Tip: Unbedingt das kleine Restaurant Bago ausprobieren. Das liegt nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, super schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den kleinen Weinberg und das Meer, tolles Essen, unglaublich nette Bedienung und faire Preise. Wir haben nirgends besser gegessen.
