Enjoy your beautiful private beach just steps away, central air-conditioning, and less than 3/4 mile to downtown Hyannis. Not beachfront, but just 100 yards is the short walk to gorgeous, sandy, private beach on Nantucket Sound with views of Great Island and the Kennedy Compound. Freshly updated inside with wide pine floors and a nice front porch with Adirondack chairs. A large deck with grill in the rear will allow you to enjoy resting at the house before and after the beach. A level lot, private dead-end street also make this home kid friendly. Less than 3/4 mile to downtown Hyannis and the harbor, where ferries depart frequently to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard and where you can go on a charter fishing trip. Located between Sea Street Beach and Kalmus Beach where you can go from your beach for even longer walks on the beach. Tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, this house is perfect for families with children or couples.

Our house has a discreet place in history - This house was used in the early 1960s as a communications center and living quarters for the Secret Service when President Kennedy visited the family compound in Hyannisport.

We have a security camera in the front and shed area. They are monitored when the house is not rented.

Beautiful, peaceful property!

Perfect getaway spot, especially in the off season. Home is equipped with everything you need for an extended stay and is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was excellent, check in/out was very easy. Definitely will stay here again!

Comfortable house, close to beaches, town

Great location for family with young teenage kids - quiet, close to beach, also walkable/bikeable to town and shops. Owner was communicative, check in was easy, house was clean and comfortable and well-stocked (kitchen utensils, lawn games, extra beach stuff, etc). Would stay again.

This property has it all! Short walk to private beach, central to Hyannis port restaurants, shops and Hy-Line for expanded adventures to the islands. House is charming and cozy with a wonderful deck for relaxing and enjoying company. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful stay at a true gem of a house!

We spent a week here in April 2024 and had a fantastic time! We were a group of six - grandparents, parents, and two small kids and the house worked perfectly for us. It's a great location and space, especially the kid room for the kids and the nice back deck. Cecil was a great host - very communicative and went above and beyond to provide helpful information before and during our stay. The location was very close to the main areas of Hyannis and great restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here for your next Cape Cod vacation!

Great vacation

House was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, great neighborhood, and central air, which was key. And there's so much to see and do in the area. Kept 14-year-old twin boys busy and excited. We had a blast and will definitely be going back there next year.

Wonderful Vacation Home and Location!

My husband and I enjoyed our end of Summer stay at this property. The home was clean, well equipped and for end of summer heat - we appreciated the AC! It is a very quiet neighborhood. Homes are well maintained. Short walk to the beach and we enjoyed the warm water, never crowded and fun to watch the island boats come and go. Highly recommend and look forward to a return visit!

Hyannis - Fall 2020

Out of all of the Homeaway / VRBO rentals we have used, by far this was one of the most comfortable homes with nice furnishings and all else well equipped. Communication with the owner when needed was quick.

Amazing house with an amazing beach

The house was everything we expected from when we walked in to when we left. The house was clean and Cecil was there if we had any questions. Hopefully the next time we visit will be in the summer.

Absolutely wonderful location! Peace and Tranquility.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this fabulous house over Thanksgiving. The kitchen is well equipped, the log fire was very welcome and the bedrooms easily accommodated our family of six. The beautiful beach is a very short walk away and we spent a lot of time there. Our dog enjoyed her first experience of running free on the beach. Thank you Cecil! We hope to return.

Perfect Spot

We had a superb experience with renting this home. The location was fantastic. Short walk to a private beach and easy drive to Main Street shops and restaurants. Also close to larger public beaches. Cecil is incredibly responsive and helpful. He made everything very easy. It was more than enough room for our family of 5. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great vacation home

This home captures the essence of Cape Cod and offers ocean breezes and walks along the beach. Very clean with modern conveniences, yet richly historic. Great patio and front porch for relaxing and taking in the peaceful serenity of the neighborhood. Close to Main St Hyannis and plenty to see and do. Owner provides helpful local information and recommendations, is easy to reach and responds quickly to questions. Thanks Cecil! Had a great time.

Great house just steps from a beautiful beach!

Our family of six just spent a week at this house and had a wonderful time. The home is exactly as pictured and was very comfortable. The location is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the back deck and at the beautiful, peaceful beach. We also took day trips to Plymouth and Chatham. Having the washer/dryer was great and we definitely made use of the kitchen and grill. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!

Amazing beach house

The house was perfect for a big family of 5 adults and 2 kids. Everything we needed was there from umbrella to vaccum. It was only a short walk of 3-5 mins to get to the small but perfect private beach. We used the BBQ mostly every night and had dinner outside on the patio. Every neighboors we met were super friendly. An amazing week and tons of memories.

The house is centrally located for you to explore all of Cape Cod. We love being close to Main Street and all the restaurants and we especially love our private beach. Never crowded, warm water in the summer. No need to drive to the beach!
