The Space:

Design House in La Cala de Mijas – Ref 230 boasts a strategic location with beautiful sea, mountain and city views, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable stay. This non-smoking property is fully equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a washing machine to ensure maximum comfort and convenience.



The modern kitchen comes complete with dishes, tableware and essential appliances, including an oven, microwave and dishwasher, making it ideal for both short and extended stays.



The sleeping area features three comfortable bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, accommodating up to six guests in total.



Outside, the property truly shines. Guests can enjoy a spacious terrace with a barbecue, an outdoor dining area and a solarium — perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the Mediterranean climate. To complete the experience, the house also features a private jacuzzi, ideal for unwinding while taking in the stunning surrounding views.



***We would like to inform you about ongoing construction activities in the approximate area of Casa Banderas. Please note that the view and terraces, including the pool area on the opposite side of the complex, remain unaffected.



The cleaning fee includes one set of towels and linen per person.



To make your arrival more comfortable, we provide a small courtesy set with essentials like shampoo and cleaning products. It’s just a small starter package to help you settle in, but you’re welcome to stock up on anything else you might need during your stay!

The Neighborhood:

La Cala de Mijas is a charming seaside town on the Costa del Sol that offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Once a small fishing village, it has grown into a popular yet still intimate destination that blends traditional Andalusian character with modern comforts. Compared to larger nearby towns like Marbella or Fuengirola, La Cala feels more laid-back and community-oriented, making it especially appealing for families, couples and those looking for a quieter coastal experience.



The town is centred around a beautiful stretch of sandy beach and a scenic promenade that runs along the coastline, perfect for morning walks, cycling or enjoying sunset views over the Mediterranean. The beaches are clean and well-maintained, with beach bars and restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local dishes right by the water.



In the centre, you’ll find a pleasant mix of cafés, tapas bars, international restaurants and small shops, all within easy walking distance. The streets are generally flat and pedestrian-friendly, creating a relaxed village feel where everything is close by. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, La Cala has a lively social scene, particularly in the evenings and during the summer months, when terraces fill up and the town hosts local events and markets.

Getting Around:

La Cala de Mijas is served by several regional bus lines (such as M-119, M-220, M-320 and others) that travel along the Mijas Costa corridor, connecting La Cala with Fuengirola, Marbella and other nearby towns. These buses run regularly during the day and are one of the cheapest ways to get around the Costa del Sol without a car.



In the vicinity of Calle Mar del Alborán there are multiple bus stops within a short walk where you can catch local services:

These stops give you access to buses that can take you east toward Marbella or west toward Fuengirola.



If you prefer more flexibility, driving is straightforward. La Cala de Mijas sits along the A-7/old N-340 coastal road, which connects directly to Marbella and Fuengirola. Signage is clear and parking is generally available throughout the town.



Other Things to Note:

- Pools have very different opening times. Please inquire before booking to make sure the pool is open during your stay.

- We have travel cots and baby chairs available. Please inquire about our rates.

- No groups under 25y (except families).

- No smoking inside, no parties.

- Excessive power use could lead to power outages due to hot lines and congested networks.

- One set of linen, a bath towel, and a hand towel per person is included; pool towels are available for rent. Please contact us about the price.

- You might need to pick up keys from our office in Fuengirola centre upon arrival; however, the day before arrival, you will get all the information, as it depends.

- We can order you to transfer, ask us about the price.
