Spectacular sandy beach for swimming. views on both sides of South Center Lake, perfect for fishing. Can access North Center Lake through the tunnel under Hwy. 8. Many activities to do in the area. Peaceful, private getaway.

Whether your coming for relaxation or to explore the town, Lindstrom is the perfect place, "like a Swedish island among a plethora of lakes".

Things to do:

Take a stroll into downtown Lindstrom and enjoy their antique shops, gift stores, boutiques, fresh meat shop, and don't forget to stop at The Sweet Swede Candy Shoppe for some homemade gourmet fudge!

Visit Ki-Chi Saga Park just down the street! The centerpiece of this park is the Karl Oskar House, an original 19th century Swedish immigrant house recently restored by the Chisago County Historical society. There are 2 picnic shelters, a Children’s Play Structure, Volleyball (bring your ball), Horseshoes (Bring your horseshoes), nature hike and winter ski trail.

Wine Lover? Wine Haven is a 12-minute drive, as well as Dancing Dragonfly, and Chateau St. Croix 30-minute drive.

Wild Mountain is a 25-minute drive. In the summer, enjoy their water park, alpine slides and go-karts. And in winter you can ski, snowboard and snow tube.

Troll Hagen is a 25-minute drive, and has zip lines in the summer, and tubing, skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

In less than 10 Minutes you can visit the Pleasant Valley Orchard. Spend the summer strawberry picking and in the fall pick apples and pumpkins and go on a hayride. As it gets to the end of the year, go to their barn sale!

Like to Golf? Chisago Lakes Golf course is just a 5-minute drive from the cabin. It has 18 holes and a new pro shop, and was named one of the top 50 MN public golf courses.

About South Center Lake:
South Center Lake is 835 acres in size. It is approximately 109 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.
About North Center Lake:
North Center Lake is 725 acres in size. It is approximately 46 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, White Sucker, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.

Great location, great neighbors. Sandy, flat beach which is hard to find. All the small surrounding towns seem to always have some fun local festival and it's just 45 minutes to the cities. Great getaway!

Perfect getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our family. It was so cute and clean! Our boys loved the loft area and the sandy beach. My husband and I loved the lounge chairs and the sand to keep our kids entertained. We had a great, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed lake activities and also went to Interstate State Park, FAWN-DOE-ROSA and Wild Mountain as its all so close! Would definitely recommend!

Great family getaway

Loved the easy access to the water (good for swimming- clear) and the sandy beach. Quiet lake while we were there. Was perfect for a getaway with kiddos. They loved catching fish off the dock and the paddle board. Comfy bed, well stocked, lots of towels, games, everything you could need. Took a few quick road-trips to Hudson Wisconsin to see the willow falls, and Osceola for cascade falls. Great icecream in lindstrom and some cute shops. Didn’t spend time in Minneapolis but that’s also under an hour hour away.

PERFECT Stay!

We had THE BEST time at this location! The house had plenty of space, was SUPER clean, and had everything we needed. But honestly, the beach was the absolute highlight of the trip. We were on the sand by 7am everyday and didn't go in until after sunset (which was amazing). The new pier was perfect for fishing (our kids loved catching sunfish on almost every cast). And we loved taking out the kayaks and paddleboard. We are already talking about coming back next year, because we loved it that much! Seriously, a must stay!

Our family of 4 truly enjoyed this cabin. Plenty of dock space for our boat, the BEACH! - our kids loved the sandy beach, fishing off the dock, the firepit, the clean/beautiful cabin, the availability of beach toys already on the property, the adorable loft for the kids, the breathtaking sunset --- and sunrise from the other side of the lake ... I could go on and on. We had such an amazing time, resetting before the busy school year. Thank you for opening up your cabin to us; we truly made a lifetime of memories!

Sunset point was lovely.

The pics are very accurate to the house & this nice property (no dock or lake access on the east side though-you just get the view) Chris was responsive to my questions. My husband and I plus two young adults stayed the weekend, rented a pontoon from Nordic Harbor on the north end of the lake and had a little bit of luck fishing (3 bass). They even accommodated our request for a 6am pontoon rental (well before their operating hours) so we could try to get the best fishing hours in. We had a nice sunset steak dinner on the beach (Bring your own steak knives & charcoal). Nice relaxing weekend!! Beds/pillows were comfy.

Perfect Couples get away

Cute place! We enjoyed our stay very much. We spent a lot of time sitting on beach. We had a fire ( bring your own wood), grilled out a few times (charcoal grill, bring charcoal) and fished whenever we could. We were able to tie our boat to the dock. Boat lanch just other side of lake off Olinda. Beds were comfy. One couple took the loft and other the bedroom. We did move fan up to loft to cool it down. Kitchen has everything you'll need to cook or bake. A few actual steak knives would have been nice, but we made do. Large table was great for meals and games. Living room so cozy with extra pillows, blankets for movie watching. Lots of towels, travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion were provided! So nice. Even beach towels were provided, we didn't realize that and brought our own. Only one of us swam, so no big deal. We spent time out at Winehaven winery and Common Loon Brewery. Ate out at the Stone Inn twice. Great Lobster Mac! Franconia Sculpture garden was fun and not far away. Chris was super easy to text and he responded promptly. We would definitely go back! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Perfect lake front getaway

My college roommates and I stayed here four nights in mid-August. The weather was a mix of sun and clouds which was perfect for playing by the water and sight seeing around interstate state park/Osceola. We had a very comfortable stay! We made coffee in the mornings, sat out by the lake as the weather warmed up, went for a walk down the country road, say at the picnic table under the yards canopy of trees, and enjoyed a bonfire when it got dark. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, the beds were comfortable, and bathroom clean. Had we stayed longer we would have ventured to the local wineries. Communication with Chris was smooth and easy. I would come again with my family!

Awesome get away.

Chris was a great host. Great communication and after a glitch in VRBO he helped me out and made the stay happen. The cabin was perfect for my wife and 4 small children. Great fishing off the dock. All the neighbors were friendly. I have zero complaints. Highly recommend place to stay to enjoy the lake life.

I Grew up in Minnesota. My family has had cabin a couple cabins in the area. My wife of 10 years and I put our heart and soul into making this a special place for us, and our 2 daughters. I hope every person loves it as much as we do. Many great memories will be had for sure. My bet is you will not forget it either.

Why they chose this property

This is not your typical cabin. The huge vaulted ceilings and nautical decor gives the cabin a open, airy feel. You get the sunsets every night on the beautiful clean beach.

What makes this property unique

A clean, fresh airy feel, this is what you call a beach house! Only about 30' from the water and maybe 4' over water level making it feel like your on the water. It's a million dollar beach with unbelievable sunsets!
