About the property
Farmyard Cottage is one of three cottages that have been converted from the original milking parlour which are set in the grounds of a former dairy farm. The cottage is perfect for a group of friends or family looking for a slice of rural life, yet still within easy reach of Malmesbury town centre which is in itself steeped in history. Enjoy an open-plan living space with modern interiors and an enclosed garden, perfect for your four-legged friend to explore. Should you wish to venture out, you have the lovely towns of Cirencester and Tetbury close by, or slightly further afield you can visit both Avebury and Stonehenge or Bath Spa for a family-friendly day out.
The space
This single-storey cottage begins with a spacious hallway, paving the way with limestone flooring which spans the entire property, along with a neutral and modern colour scheme throughout.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room is a particularly sociable space with everything you should need in one place. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a range cooker, a dishwasher, a gas hob and a fridge, while the bench dining table seats six. The lounge comprises two comfortable sofas, a cosy wood-burning effect stove and a Smart TV.
There are three delightful bedrooms at the cottage. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower and bathroom, the second bedroom also has a double bed, whilst the third bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms share a hallway bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, you will have access to a small lawned garden with a picnic bench and a coal BBQ for alfresco meals in the sunshine.
