Private Nevis Villa with Stunning Views of St Kitts and Caribbean Sea

This lovely updated villa and furnishings has stunning views of St. Kitts and the Caribbean Sea from an elevated site. It is located on the desirable north west side of Nevis in Jones Estate. It is just a 5 -minute walk to the closest beach. The villa has a veranda for dining or relaxing which overlooks the Caribbean, an in-ground saltwater pool and expansive yard. The villa is located on 1.2 acres of professionally landscaped property that is totally fenced in.

Two bedrooms are each situated on each side of the main living area. The open kitchen equipped with new appliances, and ample dishware and kitchen accessories. The quiet neighborhood is just minutes from some of the best restaurants, the sea, and watersports center at Oualie Beach.

The property is completely fenced with automated vehicle gate entry.

We have added a screened veranda as of 2024 with the main screen being automated.

Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful grounds, view and privacy of the pool. Having the retractable electric screens on the front door and back veranda were helpful. The amount of bug bites, however, not my favorite part. Did make use of the coils and daily spray, but they seem to enjoy my scent more than my partner's. Recommend netting on the beautiful canopy in the master suite.

A fantastic stay at Red Ginger Villa! We loved the location, screened porch, pool, access to house beach supplies, and the troop of monkeys that came by ever so often! Not to mention all of the help Jan provided with our logistics!! Derek even made sure we had some provisions on hand for our arrival. You absolutely CAN NOT go wrong booking this gorgeous villa on Nevis.

This is a comfortable home, gorgeous view. Jan is a gracious owner, awesome communication, and was extremely helpful with information so I could plan the stay to best meet my needs. Check-in was smooth, and Derek who helps manage the rental, was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Amazing property and convenient

The property was better than we had hoped for. The villa was amazing and had all of the amenities you come to expect when staying for more than a few days. Tastefully decorated and landscaped with great views of St. Kitts off in the distance. Only 10 minutes from Charlestown too. Would most certainly stay again!

The perfect getaway!

We absolutely loved our visit to Nevis. Red Ginger is a great house and had everything we could have needed. The home owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, providing us with lots of information about the island, nearby grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed lounging by the pool or just sitting on the veranda taking in the beautiful view of St Kitts. Would definitely recommend this home and hope to come back again soon!

Magical Birthday Trip in Paradise

Red Ginger Villa was a perfect place for our party of 3 celebrating milestone birthdays and reconnecting with friends made on previous trips. The property was beautiful with all the amenities -- including a Nespresso machine -- gorgeous pool, stocked kitchen and extremely comfortable beds. Communication with Jan before our trip was phenomenal and Derek Goode - the house manager made our arrival and departure seamless. Can't say enough good things about our host, the property and the overall memorable experience!

This is the second time at this villa and it gets better, it has everything you need for a relaxing away from it all holiday with great views and warm pool, also this year the veranda can be totally enclosed (with a see through mesh) from annoying insects. We have had an amazing 10 days at Red Ginger. Even the photos and the great reviews didn't do the villa justice, it is perfect. The attention to detail, and the items in the house are first class, and there is everything you could ever possibly need, in the house already. Many thanks to Jan for all the travel logistics to get us from the airport to the villa, and Derek for his day to day assistance if we needed anything. A wonderful and beautiful place we would visit again without hesitation.

Villa has everything you could want and more for your stay, the kitchen has all you could need for a night in, the Villa was very clean and well kept, the beds are really confortable with air con in the bedrooms, the pool was amazing, it was the warmest unheated pool we have experienced. Great help from Jan & Derek with booking and transfers,Taxi driver Daisy was also great & showed us around St. Kitts. Great views overlooking the caribbean with sunsets. Overall would highly reccommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will be booking next year!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

The property is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME so please don't let me take away from it. However, the host and their preparedness of the property was unbelievable. David (who was filling in for Derrick while he was out of the country) was phenomenal and was available for anything we needed or to answer any questions that we had. The home itself was stocked better than any vacation home that I have ever rented. David even had us a welcome stash of grocery items to get us started that was so nice to arrive to. Every detail was covered. Laundry detergent, sunscreen, dish soap, spices. You name it and it was there. Property was awesome. View was amazing. Location was great. Pool was fabulous. If this home is big enough for your party don't even waste your time looking. Just book it! I will DEFINITELY be going back for another stay.

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at this amazing property and home. The panoramic views are stunning and the private salt water pool incredible. We've stayed at a number of properties and there is no skimping here. We had absolutely everything to cook meals, relax and recharge. This property is unique and we enjoyed observing the wildlife including the donkey grazing the fence line, the troop of monkeys traveling each afternoon, birds, and butterflies. Thank you!

Words and or pictures can not describe this home. From the beautiful gardens, spectacular views, spotless pool, to anything you could possibly need is found within. The owner is nothing short of fantastic. She is prompt and courteou.s. The manager is attentive but not crowding. Thank you for an amazing second honeymoon 25 years later. We will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Red Ginger. The view is incredible and if you love sunsets as much as us it is the perfect place to watch them from the patio. If you prefer AC this house only has AC in the bedrooms. The windows in the living and kitchen are only screened. Renting a car - was easy but driving on the wrong side of the road on roads that are not well made and skinny and curvy is not as fun as it sounds. Bananas for dinner is an amazing experience. Yachtsman’s for lunch dinner and beach is the best.

Above and Beyond

Wow! This experience really exceeded our expectations! The property was outstanding. The house is beautiful and lovingly decorated with thoughtful details that really reflect the owners’ love of the island. It had every amenity you could ask for and then some. We really appreciated the starter food and drinks provided as we were starving when we got there. Everything was immaculate and organized. The highlight, of course, was the picture perfect view! We loved eating our meals on the screened veranda and relaxing in the beautifully landscaped pool. What really elevated our experience was Jan’s responsiveness, attention to detail, and wealth of information on everything from the best places to eat and things to do to the history of the islands. Planning an international trip can be stressful with all the logistics to work out, but Jan and Derek, the house manager, ensured that our arrival and departure went seamlessly. The only thing that could have made our trip better was more vacation time! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the beautiful island of Nevis.

Property with amazing view

Enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing two weeks at Red Ginger. The owners and property manager went overboard to help us enjoy our vacation. From our arrival on St Kitts to our departure everything ran smoothly. Red Ginger is a little piece of paradise overlooking the beautiful Caribbean. We spent time on the lovely veranda soaking up the view and relaxing. The property sits in a lovely 1+acre garden with amazing vegetation. Some days we got to enjoy the company of a troop of wild monkeys, which was most entertaining. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool. Everything we needed was supplied. Enjoyed the nearby restaurants, especially the Indian. Thank you so much to Jan and Greg for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Fantastic!

We loved our stay at Red Ginger, you don't get bored with the panoramic view across to St Kitts, the villa has everything you can think of in it and very comfortable, the pool is a lovely size and tended regularly by Roger the pool man, the gardens are one acre plus and really well laid out. We were met by Daisy at the airport and taken to the water taxi and wizzed across to Nevis with a complementary beer (nice touch) to meet Bruce & Marlon at Qualie Beach with the hire car all arranged by the owners, all so easy. We followed Bruce to the villa where he showed us around, he was always available if we needed anything, what an excellent guy, he checked to make sure we were happy and enjoying our break and took us to the best beach spot to view the Sunset, he also arranged our departure back to the airport. Nevis is now our favourite Caribbean island with some lovely places to visit, we found it difficult to leave, everyone was so friendly, really looking forward to returning to Red Ginger. PERFECT

I cannot say enough about our stay, but I will try. Prior to arrival Janet sent us detailed instructions about the property and set us up for all of our transportation needs upon arrival. When we landed in SKB airport there was a taxi driving waiting for us with our name on a sign, he transported us to the ferry that was arranged by Janet then once we reached Nevis the property manager was awaiting us to take us to the beautiful property. Everything was seamless. Once we arrived the property manager give a few details and let us to relax in the amazing home. The views are perfect the pool, the decor, was just as shown. Janet was kind enough to provide some essentials in the refrigerator such as water, eggs, bread and some wine, both red and white. Such a pleasant surprise. The home is fully equipment with all that you would need, there is even pool floats, yoga mat, sunscreen. We had a few questions along the way and we received prompt response from the house manager. We will return again. Thank you, Janet and your team, for such a lovey experience.

Beautiful & Relaxing!

We had no idea what to expect before we got there, but Amelia was the best! She was always available to help with whatever we needed! She met us at the water taxi pier and helped us with our car rental. You do need a car to get around. The property was perfect! It was super comfortable and felt like home and the view was AMAZING! In fact, after a overnight on St. Kitt's at the Marriott, we couldn't wait to get back to "our" cozy villa on Nevis! During our stay we felt almost as if we had the island to ourselves, we were there at the end of the spring break season. My girls and I cooked a little in our well stocked kitchen, but we had a hard time staying home for breakfast and dinner especially because we didn't find a bad meal anywhere we visited. Our favorite spots for breakfast was Chrishi's and the Yachtsman Grill. To me, Nevis felt like how the Caribbean probably was years ago: safe, relaxing and friendly. If you visit Red Ginger be prepared to relax, bring a book and some favorite family games. There is wifi for poolside music and TV, we were able to watch movies at night if we wanted. There are excursions you can take like sail and snorkle, hiking, tours, sunset horseback riding on the beach etc and little places to visit, but it is not a fast-paced lifestyle at all. Monkeys are abundant near Red Ginger, so fun to see and also donkeys that seemed to be out often in the evening and the odd herd of goats. We loved it and would love to go back again!

Perfect Getaway with Extras

This property is as gorgeous as the pictures...inside and out. The views of the Ocean and St. Kitts are spectacular in the evening or the daytime. The surrounding property is full of tropical flora with monkeys and bird visitors and occasionally, wild donkeys (very cute and shy) around the outside of the parameter. The doors and windows all open completely wide to allow natural breezes and panoramic views. The property is very well maintained and the master and guest bedrooms are beautiful. We found the bed quite comfortable and the bathrooms are large with great showers. We spent a lot of time on the front veranda, enjoying the view, eating, and reading. Everything is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and in great condition. The pool is wonderful and it is in the sun so it stays a comfortable temperature. All beach necessities (towels, bags, chairs, coolers, noodles) are provided. Really appreciated coming in from a long flight to a refrigerator with cold beverages, eggs, bread, and other snacks. The owners have thought of everything and leave a very detailed binder of places and things to see on the Island including menus and basic necessities. They are incredibly responsive and their concierge, Amelia is also wonderful, taking care of everything from the car rental to the transportation to the villa. The island does occasionally lose power but they have a back up generator that will keep you going. Our travel to the island was complicated by Seaborne airline who lost our luggage for the week and no one at the airline responds. This created a lot of stress for us but Amelia was constantly sending someone to the airport to check on the status and made us feel like we had a friend on the island. We highly recommend avoiding this airline and taking one of the other choices. We flew back on Tradewinds and it was a fantastic experience. The property owners also checked in with us and were very flexible in trying to help us with our travel problems (including being snowed out on the return trip to Boston). We highly recommend the property, the owners, Amelia, and the island. A perfect getaway even with imperfect travel logistics. We look forward to returning to the property again!

Red Ginger Villa

What can we say...we had the incredible vacation! Jan and Greg thought of everything! Darik, the house manager, met us at the water taxi to take us to the villa. The first time we saw Red Ginger, we were beyond thrilled. Everything described in the VRBO ad were much better than we imagined. Every detail about the house and area was addressed. From restaurant recommendations, to things to do around Nevis. Jan even arranged from our transportation from the St Kitts airport to Nevis and our rental car. The house was so well stocked with towels, bedding, beach chairs, full kitchen and extra toiletries. We ended up extending our stay by 7 nights. The perfect holiday villa

The villa has a good layout, perfect view and is kitted our with everything you could reasonably expect of a rental. This is not a stripped out rental house. It felt like having your own place abroad as there were so many small touches - even some fold up chairs to take to the beach. Communication was good before, during and after. Brilliant house manger. We will definitely be going back.

Return to paradise

Such a lovely place to vacation. Janet was wonderful to work with. She provided us with lots of information, and assisted in coordinating our transfers to the island. Bruce, the house manager, was great as well. He clearly loves Nevis and wants you to feel the same. We LOVED the house, pool, veranda and the view! We have rented many places on Nevis, and this one was perfect for us.

We are retired and spend 4-6 months in Nevis. We enjoy the many beaches, superb dining, hiking trails, artsy environment. The term used here is Nevis Nice and is so accurate and one of the reasons we bought Red Ginger. We enjoy the island beauty and unique people. Nevis is unlike any of the Caribbean Islands and is a must see destination.

Why they chose this property

Red Ginger has a private entrance with restricted access. The house is far enough off the road there is no noise and only traffic is a couple neighbors.
