"Lo Studiolo Luxury Suite" est un appartement romantique et élégant au coeur du centre historique de Lucques. L'appartement est situé au deuxième étage d'un bâtiment historique caractéristique avec une entrée sur la Via Santa Croce, à quelques pas de la belle Piazza Santa Maria Forisportam et de la Tour Guinigi. D'une superficie d'environ 50 mètres carrés, il peut accueillir 2 personnes et est parfait pour les couples de tous âges et pour les voyageurs d'affaires. Il est meublé avec beaucoup de goût et d'élégance, avec des meubles qui créent une atmosphère très chaleureuse et se compose d'un salon-salle à manger avec cuisine ouverte complète avec tous les accessoires nécessaires pour cuisiner, une chambre double et une salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne. Les parkings publics sont à 5 minutes à pied. Une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et la climatisation sont disponibles !

The apartment was wonderful. It was convenient to the train station. We wished we were staying longer! We loved Lucca! Another plus was a place for morning cappuccino just steps away! Definitely highly recommend this place!

Arrived late, good directions. Shocked at the amount of steep steps to climb up. Since check in reached out numerous times for help, zero communication. Great location. This host is rated premier…so NOT true. Lucca is magical though

A Great Base for Exploring Lucca and Tuscany

"Lo Studiolo" is a comfortable, bright apartment, with an updated bathroom and kitchen. It is a great place for a stay in Lucca and exploring Tuscany. (Both Pisa and Florence are only an hour away by an inexpensive train ride.) The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Lucca, but it is quiet. The bedroom faces a garden area and there was no noise at night. The apartment has a "galley" kitchen, which is open to the living/dining area, but it is adequate for meals for one or two persons. The internet worked well. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend the apartment. I would definitely stay there again. My only small quibble is that referring to "Lo Studiolo" as "luxury" might raise expectation a little too high.

Lovely stay

My partner and I stayed 4 days in this spacious 2nd floor apartment. It was well equipped with extra toiletries and plenty of cooking equipment (including 3-bialetti’s. We rented bery nice bicycles (Petalitaly/ciclismo) during our stay and road the area. A nice light road bike was easy to navigate up the narrow stairs. The unit was clean, well lit with wi derail daylight, plenty of windows and a contemporary decor. The location was near the South Gate but positioned near cafes and restaurants but not over them, so enjoyed quite nights sleep. The host was very responsive to the few questions I had. Do not hesitate to enjoy this property for two.

There were minimal amenities. There were no spices or oil for cooking. There was no spatula for cooking eggs. There were a few coffee pods but no coffee maker that accepted the pods. There was one roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper for a two week stay.The TV was old and small; it did not support Netflix or YouTube. The couch was old, uncomfortable, and small. There was nothing to rest your feet on.The bed did not have fitted sheets, so the sheets kept coming off with movement. The bed was also small for two people. I was by myself, but if I had brought my wife, we would not have been comfortable in that small bed. The pillows were as flat as pancakes. There was no alarm clock in the bedroom, had to go buy one to be able to wake up for appointments.I was automatically charged an old credit card for my final payment without asking me for a credit card. They used an old credit card instead of allowing me to select the correct card.The place was clean and the location was great, and the Wi-Fi worked fine, but could not stream anything on the old TV. However, due to the lack of amenities I believe the apartment was overpriced for what I was charged.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that some aspects of the apartment did not meet your expectations. Regarding the kitchen, in addition to single-use portions of oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, we are unable to leave full packages for hygiene reasons. The apartment is designed for two guests, and the bed is 160 cm wide, which is a standard double size. As for the alarm clock, it is not provided in any of our apartments, as this is no longer a commonly used amenity. We appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration to continue improving our service.
