There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is an enclosed patio and off-road parking for two cars. Borahard Lodge makes a lovely base for adventures across Kildare and the surrounding counties. There are electric gates at the property for added security. Simple accommodation but had everything we needed at a very good price. It was just a little hard to spot from the road. For future guests, it is the first entry after Willowbrook Nursing Home, which is shared with a property called St. Judes.

Comfy, cozy cottage

We had a wonderful time! Thank you! We were comfortable and cozy in the cottage (once we got things warmed up). Lots of dishes and all the pots and pans and such that you need to make meals. Excellent location, too. Newbridge is close and provides all the amenities you could ever want. Dublin airport is an easy 40-minute drive away.

Great Rural Location Only a Short Drive from Dublin

If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here.

location d'une semaine entre pécheurs

j'ai réservé cette location , pour un séjour d'une semaine pêche dans la région. pour la réservation tous ces bien dérouler , mais j'ai vite déchanter par la suite , impossible d'avoi le contact du propriétaire le numéro de téléphone fourni dans les documents ne répondais pas. A plusieurs reprise j'ai eu les services d'Abritel, et aucun retour à mes demandes. A la veille de notre départ , je n'avais pas la certitude d'avoir notre location. A notre arrivé en Irlande, j'ai réussi a avoir une personne, en panique , car le ménage n'était pas fait. celui ci a était fait en grande vitesse , a t'elle point qu'il restait des toiles d'araignées , également une des deux douches ne fonctionnait pas , celle ci a ete réparer le jeudi , alors que nous quittions la location le samedi matin .je ne parle pas de la vaisselle du congélateur, des chaises cassés, des ustensiles de cuisine Quand à l'électricité nous avons régler un montant de 20 sans justificatif de relevé de compteur .En résumé court , a éviter ; Abritel, Sykes, et le logement.

Nice but old property

We were warmly and friendly welcomed and well looked after during the week's stay. The design, furniture and equipment are present and working but it is all outdated and old. The close location to a very busy road should be mentioned on the website.

It has it all!

We arrived from Canada after many flight delays at 2 am to be greeted by a warm well lit cottage and Patrick greeted us to ensure we were ok. Cottage is exactly as advertised. Beds are comfy, place is well taken care of and kitchen is well equipped. Living area is cozy. Yiu can walk to a great restaurant (Toughers). We even caught the green bus from Toughers to take us for 2 Euros to Monasterevin for a pub night. Bus driver on request let us out on way home at 1 am almost right across from our cottage. We were here in early Dec and despite having to turn on heating the electricity bill at the end of our 8 days was surprisingly low.. Don’t hesitate to book this place. We would gladly return again

Very nice and Cody house, good location, heartily and cordially hosts!

The house is nice, it’s part of an active farm with ducks, hens, cows, a cat and the lovely old dog Trixie. The house itself is cosy and has everything you might need. Location is great with around 30 min drive to Dublin Temple Bar, around 50 Min drive to Wicklow Mountains (recommended!). Best are the hosting couple, so warmly and nice ppl! We even received a personal farm tour incl. collecting eggs, helping milk the cows, getting to see the newborn calf … Wonderful and staying memories for our 11y daughter and also for us. Thanks again for having us as guests, we can only recommend staying in this cottage and would love to come back on day. Oh, a great Pub is just a few minutes walk away with delicious food and diff. supermarkets are within range of few minutes drive.
