Brian et Deidre sont des hotes exceptionnels. un superbe logement ideal jusqu a 6 personnes. tres propre, bien entretenue. situe a environ une vingtaine de kilometre de Dublin. Charmant et pitoresque.

Excellent. Everything you could possibly need is at the house. Brian lives next door to answer questions and it’s exceptionally helpful and gracious. There is a local pub, the Friel that serves good affordable ford, and a Tesco about 3 miles away. Great location, peaceful and a perfect family holiday.

Very nice rental on the outskirts of Dublin. Great base to explore Boyne Valley, Wicklow and surrounding area!! Well equipped kitchen and very comfort beds. Brian has created a very cosy and warm atmosphere in his rental!!! Great communication regarding check-in. Pool table a big plus!! Loved it, will return when back in Ireland!!

Amazing property

The host was extremely friendly courteous and communicated well. The property was beautiful clean and had everything we needed. They also had a cow pasture behind us and the cows were adorable. The property was extremely clean and well-equipped for our stay. Would definitely recommend this property for folks that want to stay outside Dublin.

Enchanting Country Cottage

Brian has been a delight and his home has made a bright spot for an otherwise chaotic stay in Ireland for my sister and myself! We have encountered many unexpected challenges and have had to pivot our plans repeatedly because of issues out of our control- throughout all of this Brian has been welcoming and encouraging and flexible with our stay in his beautiful home. This property is absolutely spotless, comfortable, and warm and welcoming in every way. Choose to use his home for your base to explore this countryside and the city of Dublin. All of our needs were provided above and beyond and he genuinely cared for our well being. Thank you for being our host Brian! The world could use many more with your kindness.

Wonderful Stone Building

Super quiet property with everything that one would need. It's just down the road from a lovely pub. Landlord was very responsive to requests. The door was a bit tricky, but we had the key and just needed a little love to get it open. Parking super easy. Lovely beds. Needed to hit the thermostat for central heat and heating water ahead of when we needed either, but once hot, that building maintained temperature seemingly forever (oh the joy of a stone home). Pool table for the kids along with books and games. The yard was good for playing ball. Separate rooms for the family was a life-saver. Great time!

Gite fantastique

Un bijou dans le cœur de la campagne, riche en monuments historiques mais à 2 pas de la ville univers charmante de Maynooth.Brian, le hôte est très discret mais disponible en cas de difficulté. Il connaît bien son coin d'Irlande et fournira tout renseignement nécessaire. La gîte et superbement équipée , les lits sont confortables et la table à Billard est un énorme plus.

Perfect location

We loved our stay at Brian and Deirdre's property, it's a beautifully restored outbuilding. There was fresh milk and a packet of biscuits left for us on arrival and Brian explained everything we needed to know, i.e.heating, cooker and other facilities. The property was perfectly located for us as we have family in Kildare and Dublin and the nearest pub is only a 15 minute walk away. We would highly recommend.

Nice old milk stable

Nothing to summarice. Brian is a nice guy. Every morning wake up call by the cows. Suroundings very pleasant near by Dublin en other activities.

Ireland Outbuilding

Everything was exactly as listed. Charming outbuild that was more than sufficient for me, my husband and 2 adult children. We were in the area for a wedding at the K Club. The location was perfect for us. The owner was very accommodating and the grounds were lovely, especially the cows and farm dog who kept watch. Highly recommended

Lovely house in a great location

The property was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed having the pool table! The location is great - peaceful and calm but with easy access to towns round about, and great public transport into Dublin. The property owners were communicative, friendly and very helpful. Would recommend!

Gîtes tout à fait comme prévus. Beaux cadres et belles maisons bien équipées pour 6 personnes

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants. Les équipements parfaits sauf le nombre de chaises parfois ( 4 pour 6 personnes). Les maisons bien situées et très agréables.

Country Seeing near Dublin

We were on vacation for the first time in Ireland. It was my wife and I, our oldest son and his wife and their 2 year old son and our 2nd oldest son and his fiancee. This place was a true GEM!! It was a quiet, comfortable, country setting. The place was great, clean, well taken care of and the hosts were sooo accommodating. We traveled into Dublin Center from here and it was an easy drive. We were happy to have a quiet and safe place to unwind and rest up for our daily adventures. When it was time to leave it was only about a 30-40 minute drive to Dublin Airport.

Fantastic!

This was our best stay in Ireland! Brian and his wife are fantastic hosts. Outside of the city, cows on the property and of course, Polly the dog who is precious. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience Irish hospitality at it's finest!

A Home Away from Home!

Ovidstown Guest house was beautiful!!! It is historical and driving the beautiful long driveway, we felt like we were in the 18 century with the stoned Manor and the guest house. Beautiful hardwood floors all through out. All three bedrooms looked exactly like the pictures. The beds on the Vrbo sight says the beds are full size, but they are larger than a full size bed. The beds are closer to queen size American beds. My husband and I fit perfectly on the master bedroom bed. Bathrooms very clean and fully stocked with nice towels. Sheets were soft and clean and crisp. The washer dryer combo worked great. Drying time was long. We loved the open kitchen with table. The game room was the BEST part!! Lots of family fun playing darts and pool. The Host, Brian, was so friendly and gave us great suggestions to restaurants. 2km from Barberstown Castle. And 10min drive to train station which takes you to Dublin or anywhere in Ireland. Brian replied quick when I messaged him too. The best part was the beautiful green hills and the friendly cows that lived there on the property and greeted my family. We will come back to Ireland we will stay there again! This place is a treasure.
