We rented the cabin for a 30th birthday trip with friends. Everything was as Ashley described and we had a great time! The house was clean and provided plenty of space with nice views. Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a mountain getaway and while staying close to the downtown area.

Hi, We are a family of four, including our dog, John Henry. We have lived in Asheville for 14 years and love our home. That is why we are so excited to share it with others! We are busy new parents and working professionals but we always have time to accommodate our guests. I like to correspond by email so I can get to it when I can without interruption. Phone calls tend to play out into phone tag :) I check email often, so I am able to get to your request fast. We live close by so we can take care of anything you may need while staying at our home. We just purchased the home in July, which is why our reviews are limited. We bought the furniture from the previous owners so many of the photos of the interior are accurate. This home and our rates have been very popular in the past so email us quickly to book! With the year-round mountain views, anytime is a great time to visit our home!
Anna purchased this House in 2017

It was better than expected. The view, the house , everything was like a dream. It was perfect .
We enjoyed the hot tub. The view over the mountains was amazing. There were trails and adventures to be had. We loved it.
Great get-a-way in the mountains!
I just returned from a 5 day- 4 night get-a-way with 5 other ladies and we had a blast! The accommodations are the best, the kitchen is fully furnished IF you want to cook. The living room and adjoining deck looks out over the most incredible scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the hot tub was icing on the cake after a long day of hiking, shopping and dining in Asheville. I had to call Anna to help me figure something out and she was available immediately to assist. If you want a perfect spot to get away and unplug for a while with the ready accessibility of Weaverville and Asheville this is a perfect vacation home. I will admit to being a little intimidated by the driveway leading to the house because I don't have all- wheel or 4-wheel drive but I followed Anna's instructions to the letter and didn't have a bit of trouble. Yay! Not bad for a bunch of 60+ ladies who are accustomed to driving on flat land! I highly recommend this vacation rental on Jack's Knob Rd in Weaverville! Susan L.
Lifetime Memories on top of the Mountain
A 50th birthday girls weekend that sets the stage for all others! There were 7 of us and we were very comfortable in this home. The fireplace was going while we played cards, laughed and caught up with each other. The windows and upper deck allowed for breathtaking views and the home had everything we needed as far as supplies (only thing missing were sheets for pullout couch. We made due with blankets)
We were ok with spotty internet because we needed to unplug and getaway.
The adventure of the driveway had to be everyones favorite though! It's not that it's just long, steep in parts and gravel...there are also the switch back type turns that made our FL friends hold their breath. We had no issues in our rental SUV.
We enjoyed a tour of the Biltmore, dinner at Stoney Knob Cafe, exploring downtown Asheville and evenings playing games at the house. Ahhhhh can we come back??!! :)
Thank you for everything!
What an amazing chalet!
I found this property on this site and once I saw the house, I knew it was the one to spend our Spring Break vacation. I immediately booked it! The house is located way up in the mountains in the Beech Community and when you drive up, you have this breathtaking view. It’s quiet, serene, relaxing. My three kids loved the hot tub best! I felt quite at home. I went walking and explored the mountain. I can’t say enough fantastic things about this house!
Peaceful, relaxing, and quiet! Just what this Middle School teacher needed on Spring Break!
This is the perfect property to get away from it all. Awesome views, relaxing hot tub, and a bottom level for our older kids to veg out and watch what they wanted, nap, and read. My husband, toddler, and I had the top level to ourselves pretty much. We all had enough space together for family movies, our Easter dinner, and catching up with each others lives on the deck which overlooks mountains. I was also presently surprised it had most of our items we all tend to forget. The spare hairdryer was a lifesaver! This is just a home away from home. We rent from VBRO often, this was the first home that I just felt like I walked into a second home, put away some groceries and everything was just readily available. We have an AWD vehicle and the roads/driveway was no issue, even in the rain. The dryer heat wasn't working that well, but that comes from normal wear and tear. Nothing that air drying couldn't fix! Thank you so much for lending your home to us. My husband just got home from deployment and I am a Middle School PE/Health teacher and soccer coach (we are in season). This was much needed!
This place was really peaceful and had a beautiful view
We really enjoyed the seclusion of this house. The road to it is steep but we had no problems. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable and spacious. It has everything you would need. The hot tub was very relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace I think every night, had plenty of wood to use. I do have 2 small complaints and they just may well be personal preferences, we didn’t like the master bed and switched with my son and slept in the downstairs bed with memory foam which we found more comfortable, and I just don’t like microfiber sheets/ bedding. I loved the layout of the house and the openness. Dining at the table with the views was awesome. I loved all the windows on that side of the house. The big vaulted ceiling and windows! The house was very clean which is important to me. The only other thing was the internet is limited, so no steaming or watching Netflix or Hulu, which was fine for me but I wanted to mention it because I didn’t realize it was limited because it said WiFi and I assumed it was unlimited. There is satellite and plenty to watch, I just have only used subscription tv like Netflix for so long(like 5 years) it was a wierd adjustment, but for regular people I’m sure it’s fine. I was able to watch Roseanne when it aired so that was a win. The kids watched some movies and enjoyed the dvds that were available. The house had TVs all over so people could spread out if they wanted to and watch different stuff. The water was delicious coming out of the faucet, I probably should of drank more. There was coffee filters and sugar and spices and plenty of condiments to use. We really enjoyed our time here and the location was just far enough away for privacy but close enough to stop at Walmart to get things we wanted as we came and went. We went to Biltmore Estate, chimney rock tourist area and hiking, drove and hiked a bit around the blue ridge parkway and little Switzerland to a waterfall hike. We also enjoyed downtown Asheville and it’s art and good restaurants.
Our home is the perfect secluded mountain getaway with quick access to everything you may need or want! Stoney Knob Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Asheville (our personal favorite) and is a quick 9 miles away. Weaverville is less than 10 miles away and is a charming little mountain town. Spend the afternoon strolling down Main Street. Grab a bite at Twisted Laurel or Blue Mountain Pizza while you're there. If you're up for a little more excitement, head to downtown Asheville where there are more incredible restaurants than we can count on two hands. Treat yourself to some great shopping or visit the many art galleries. If you're up for a little adventure, visit Gearu, a local equipment rental company. Gearu offers our guests 10% off mountain bike, paddle board and kayak rentals. Float down the French Broad if you feel like staying close to town. As you can see, the possibilities are endless and you are guaranteed to have a wonderful vacation at our home.
