Middle Wymson House is set in the secluded grounds of a hIstoric Grade 2 listed thatched farmhouse in the pretty hamlet of Wimpstone surrounded by some of Warwickshire's most delightful countryside.
The house is perfectly located for Stratford upon Avon for everything Shakespeare, riverside walks, the races, busy pubs and fabulous restaurants. If this is not enough the Cotswolds offers charming villages and historic houses for a little more culture. And if the city life is more to your liking, Birmingham and the NEC are just under an hour away and Warwick, Leamington Spa and Cheltenham are a lot closer.
The House overlooks the paddock where you can watch over the alpacas and pygmy goats. All are happy to be fed and cuddled at anytime!
Having undergone complete renovation the house leaves you wanting for nothing. Modern fittings are perfectly balanced with the charm of an historic building. It offers you a luxurious home with three beautifully appointed bedrooms all with en-suites, a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area with stunning vaulted ceiling and mezzanine floor. You can enjoy the rural life; nestle by the roaring fire or relax outside in the hot tub watching the alpacas graze and the goats play.
If you want to be more active there are walks and cycle routes from your doorstep. The River Stour just two minutes away is also a favourite spot with local fishermen.

We had a fantastic time at this little Cotswolds retreat. Our host Kay was brilliant, going above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely time. Highlights were the hot tub, and meeting the alpacas and goat!

Kay was a great host, the house was spotless, we loved the animals and the rural location, it was quiet, we had everything we needed. There were no robes as stated, but apart from that, perfect in every way! The hot tub was great too and is quite big, the beds were comfortable and the en-suites are all quite roomy. I would definitely stay here again.

A great property in a beautiful peaceful area. Very pretty and added bonus of a hot tub and lovely alpacas. Clean rooms and it worked really well for 6 adults for the weekend. Very helpful and accommodating owner.

a wonderful stay, in a beautiful location. Accommodation was very comfortable with everything, and more, that you could want. Perfect position for North Cotswold with Blenhiem, stratford and Chipping Camden a long stones throw away.

We had a wonderful relaxing family weekend and would highly recommend. Kay was a brilliant host and very welcoming. The hot tub and alpacas were highlights for us, the children loved to feed the alpacas. The cottage was well equipped with everything you needed, including a laundry room which was a huge bonus. Lovely getaway with alpacas

A lovely property in a quiet area. The kids had great fun feeding the alpacas and goat. Plenty of wood for the hot tub supplied. Owner is very friendly and explains everything. We'd love to come back.

Fantastic 6 day stay in August with 4 adults and 1 child. Our daughter absolutely loved the hot tub and the Alpacas and Goat! The pictures don’t do enough justice, the grounds are stunning and much bigger than expected. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need! Kay was a great host who went out of her way to check on us, accommodate us and answer any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Great property, relly enjoyed meeting Echo, Biscuit and Jigsaw. Location is perfect with some wonderful pubs and restaurants on the door step. Kay was lovely and looked after us really well. Most definitely will stay again.

A beautifully presented property with a patio. We could see the goats and alpacas out of every window which was great morning and evening entertainment! Our host was very helpful and supplied us with welcome recommendations for places to visit. Would definitely return.

A beautiful English countryside retreat

We loved Middle Wymson Farm! We were here for a yoga retreat and loved coming back to the farm after classes. The animals run up to greet you and the hot tub was very welcome too. Very lovely spot! We recommend!

Wonderful birthday weekend celebration with friends

We had a perfect long weekend. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, it was all very clean, comfortable and lovely. Beautiful setting, the Alphas and goat were a delight. Brilliant property, the property is in a great location for travelling to other places with Stratford upon Avon less than 10 minutes drive.We all enjoyed the hot tub and the girls had fun feeding the alpacas and goats.Kay the owner was brilliant and on hand for any needs we had,would love to back and would recommend this property to anyone.

WHAT A FANTASTIC WEEK

We absolutely loved staying Kay and Brian's lovely home in the Cotswolds and will return again. Both were incredibly gracious and made us feel so welcome. The property was gorgeous. Our three boys and two dogs loved engaging with the alpacas and goats and the wood fired hot tube was a great addition. The location was ideal for visiting Shakespeare's birthplace and the lovely Cotswold villages. 10 out 10!

This was a beautiful area to stay in. Kay, our host was really warm and welcoming. The accommodation was in excellent order, very clean, modern and with everything we needed in the kitchen.Having the alpacas and goat added another pleasant dimension. The area is very central to the Cotswolds and Stratford. Our little dog was in his element with all the lovely walks straight from the door. Local people we talked to were very friendly. Prior to our visit I contacted Kay as we needed to take our dog to a vet to get the necessary paperwork in order for returning to Ireland. Kay responded quickly and pointed us in the right direction.Overall an excellent week.

A quiet and comfortable base for theatre in Stratford Upon Avon

We spent a very pleasant weekend in this beautifully-decorated and well-equipped cottage. It was damp November so we did not use the tennis court or outside dining area but we did appreciate the wood burning stove and the unlimited supply of wood. We enjoyed feeding the three alpacas and the two pygmy goats. Our hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative. We found this a really good base for seeing two wonderful plays in Stratford Upon Avon. It was nice to return to a quiet, peaceful and cosy place after a busy day out.
